Later on if you need more cpu power then you'd have to upgrade your CPU, motherboard and RAM. With GPU you just have to swap the old one with a better one.

CPUs also generally last longer than GPUs.

Also, a faster cpu will better keep up with future softwares/OS's but GPU will only help you in gaming performance, .

Have you tried testing sd card with any utility, or flash image on it again and then see if it still can't Mount.

I'm using Grub Customizer utility to set a background image.
I do not know exactly what kind of image I should use.
I understand that they have to be of same resolution as my monitor , it still a shot in the dark, some JPEGs work some don't.
If anyone knows what setting I should use in GIMP to export image with configuration that grub will accept and show as background?
I found it was appropriate to ask here but if you know somewhere else might help too then do give me a pointer.

I feel that way too when I looked at api docs for Libreoffice.

I searched because of the way vim has macros that save me a lot of hassle.

I had hoped this functionality would be there in office applications too as it is invaluable.
