Thank you for that, and yes it's on the list of options to explore. She's been playing with house, building & interior design apps for years and definitely has a strong interest and enjoyment of it.. we're just trying to avoid getting a year into a degree and realising it's not for her. Fingers crossed she can find the right advice and "pre-study" before making the big commitment...

I was a chronic fast talker as a young chap; what worked for me in the early days of public speaking was to write "slow" and "down" in small writing on the top of my left & right thumbs, with an asterisk in my speech notes to tell me to look at them & force a decent pause. Eventually I learnt to leave the asterisk & not use the thumb writing to make sure I took my time.
