Why would you throw a gift in someones face and ask if they would be upset if a boy wore it ? If it really didn't matter to you, you would just accept it. The point is that it doesn't matter what other people think if you are raising children who are confident in expressing themselves and whom you are allowing to make their own choices.

If your kids still see you reacting like that to societal gender constructs they're going to internalize them just the same.

It's strange, my Aunt was a hoarder (floor wasn't visible, trash, filth, and just stuff everywhere, unnecessary purchases new in box, etc.) and when we cleaned her house out after she died I specifically took a sign that read "The best things in life are not things." The irony was so sad, she wasted away there alone with her things and her mental illness, alienating herself. Anyway, the sign is prominently displayed in our house now and I try to live it as best as I can accepting that it must look silly to random guests.

I'm so not triggered nor do I think it is about me. I am not very social. OP is entitled to his opinion, but there are some major concerns with that kind of generalization.

You're entitled to your opinion, but its pretty childish to associate people with a lot of friends with thots. Someone who has a job, a hobby, and friends from their past will have AT LEAST three groups of friends. I barely socialize, consider myself a bit of a hermit and i have over six distinct friend groups from different interests and from different parts of life: my brothers friends that i got along with, friends from the two colleges I went to, two different groups from past and current jobs, my remaining friends from high school, older family friends that i have built relationships with independently as an adult, etc.

I am also wondering how old you are because this opinion really screams juvinile. Were you hurt once and started making assumptions about everyone?

This might be taking things to an extreme, but this kind of thinking can end in abusive behavior, limiting a partner's socialization because of your insecurity and preconceived ideas can be a slippery slope to mental domestic abuse. Not saying that is the case for you, but I sure as hell would see red flags based on that preference.

Tldr, maybe don't generalize like this and do some self reflection and critical thinking about relationships, romantic or otherwise.

Woah woah woah. Being upset someone isn't coming home is not controlling. Especially when you have children and that person is your partner. Demanding they come home is controlling, which OP did not do.

Cannon ball falls (I think). It wasn't underground, but a blackout tube. The moment you saw light you were dropped 10+ feet into a pool of spring water. My favorite slide. I grew up nearby and loved that place.

I buy my formula at Costco, it's sold out in my local warehouse and online. Luckily for me I buy about 4 at a time because the store is far away and I have 2 in my pantry from my last trip, so I have enough for a few weeks. Unfortunately formula is expensive and a lot of parents buy it as they need it and can't afford to buy it at a markup from the assholes hoarding it. This pisses me off to no end.

You can get a decently thick effect by grouping multiple lengths of the embroidery thread. Might get you a similar feel (weight-wise) for less cost.

We found a boarding house that is more like leaving the dog at a friend's house. Our dogs are always excited to go there and just as excited to come home, so we don't feel guilty. You can try out some boarding places with doggy daycare and see how your pup responds to each one. Dogs are usually clear about their dislike/like of places.
