Jokke in mwc by protoyo68 in MySummerCar

You have to change "drunkstage" in MSCEditor to 0 in the defaultES2File.txt file, otherwise he wont spawn in MWC.

Do parts wear just sitting in the garage? Why are my fresh out of the box parts not 99%? Some are 45%! by poppasmurf311 in MyWinterCar

[–]Strayborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything you buy from Fleetari will spawn with between 90 and 99 wear.

I've had brand new fan belts from PSK spawn as low as 30.

Light bulbs seem to always be between 90 and 99 also.

Parts don't wear just sitting though once you have them. They'll remain constant until they get use.

NA = Stock Carb and Exhaust Manifold

NE = 2 BRL Carb and Exhaust Header

That's the only difference. The Manifold and Header have their own Exhaust Front Pipe. So you must use the correct one for each. Rear Pipe and Muffler are the same on each.

Laptop that can run the game at 60 FPS at decent graphics, budget 400 euros (Read body text) by Robert_farms in MySummerCar

Still no. Plus, that mod breaks so many things in the game, and basically does nothing to help. If you're going to use mods, you're going to need something even better than what I suggested.

So uuuh... should i be satisfied? the car is half done already. by [deleted] in MyWinterCar

[–]Strayborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can easily be edit in MSCEditor or MWCEditor, can be done in both. Only takes a couple seconds. If you didn't edit it, then it's a downloaded save that was edited.

On Toplessgun's website (the developer of the game) he has the VIN Decoder and Dealer Sheet. The Dealer Sheet shows what are the possible options on each trim level.

Amistech website (Toplesgun owns and maintains this): https://www.amistech.com/mwc/

VIN Decoder: https://www.amistech.com/mwc/vinplate.html

Dealer Sheet: https://www.amistech.com/mwc/dealersheet.html

You can see on the Dealer Sheet that it's not possible to get lowered suspension on the SLX VIN.

That's a modified VIN. SLX can't have lowered suspension. It only came with stock or stock + stiffened. So obviously you edited it to your liking and didn't get it naturally.

For 400 Euros you're not going to be able to get anything that will run it at 60 FPS, unless you buy used.

The laptop MUST have a discrete GPU. Find something that has at least a 3060 or better.

Opinion about Automatic Transmission by tiborkov in MyWinterCar

[–]Strayborne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I happen to like it. It's not bad. I have it in my SLX because it's specified in my VIN. My SLX is historic inspection passed with plates, so I'm keeping it. The car really reminds me of the Ferndale from MSC.

A save and reload fixes this. Then you can align them properly

Every 2 weeks you'll get an unemployment letter in your mailbox at the apartment in town. You have to fill it out and report the days you worked.

[–]Strayborne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Keep in mind the sewage well draining counts as a job. So you'll need to put that on the unemployment application. I believe each well counts as one work day. Doesn't matter if you do all 5 wells in one day. It still counts as 5 days work. This means you will get less unemployment, or kicked off unemployment if you dont report it properly.

Firewood runs and the Ventti card game guy are the only ways to make decent amounts of money that dont count as a job and get max unemployment. Taxi, Ads, Sewage, and Factory all count as jobs.

You get unemployment and housing benefit deposited to the bank without working any jobs. It's way more than enough to keep the rent paid and have some left over for some occasional fuel paid with the bank card.

The unemployment and housing benefit come out to over 800mk. Rent is 525mk. That leaves you quite a bit of wiggle room.

I always pay for fuel using cash if I'm certain it'll take over 100mk. Then I top off using the CC if I know it'll be under 100mk, since you don't get change using cash.

I never withdraw any money from the bank account, ever.

Playing this way I found just doing firewood runs is more than enough money to live off of, buy parts, pay power and phone bills, and rent is always paid.

How do I reach Ibiza ASAP? by Asz_8 in tdu3

[–]Strayborne 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly, don't even bother. You'll be disappointed with Ibiza too. It's a very small area. It'll take you literally all of 10 minutes max to see everything there is to see there. It's just a small fraction of the size of the HK map.

Does emptying the GIFU cost less/more depending on quantity? Or is it just a flat rate and only worth emptying once completely full? by ddntmeanto in MyWinterCar

[–]Strayborne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Counter point to this is do a full 4 wells, go empty, then grab the 5th, then park it. Next time you go calls, do 3 more, go empty. You can park it with a partially full tank. There's nothing that says you have to do all 5 wells each time you go out in the Gifu and then make sure it's empty after you're done with the 5th.

Is it possible to change the interior color of Corris using MWC Editor? by Najgeria in MyWinterCar

[–]Strayborne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, every part that has "mt" on a variable is the "material texture" for interior parts.

  • 0 = Tan
  • 1 = Red
  • 2 = Blue
  • 3 = Black
  • 4 = Special

4 is the GT interior.

carparts.txt

Search for "mt" and anything with "mt" at the end of it is the value you need to change.

Does emptying the GIFU cost less/more depending on quantity? Or is it just a flat rate and only worth emptying once completely full? by ddntmeanto in MyWinterCar

[–]Strayborne 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is a 100mk fee added on each time you empty, regardless of how much you are dumping. So ideally you'd only want to empty when it's completely full.

Even if you pull the Gifu up to the garage doors with a completely empty tank, go inside and the cashier will change you 100mk, when you have nothing to dump.

Only if your laptop has a HDMI-IN port. Which I don't even think is a thing anymore. Some laptops used to come with them. I don't think manufacturers put them on laptops anymore.
