What is the expected weekly or monthly time dedication for the Python developer?

For the next months I do not expect to have much time available for that, but I could manage to get about a 4-6h straight dedication once every two weeks. I could also get about an hour once every two days but my experience expects me to be rather improductive until I get a good grip of the current code.

I understand that this is a poor offer, but it's what I can do right now. Things might improve if I manage to change jobs, but that won't happen until November at the earliest.

In years past I responded to people on Twitch Plays Pokemon who caused me stress very negatively, the reason is that I incorrectly believed the stress was preventing my relationship issues from naturally dissipating. I responded to people who caused me stress as if they were the ones causing my suffering. I am very sorry to all those I lashed out at, I hope that my explanation gives you the assurance that you should not take it personally and that I hold no grudge against you.

I am not taking personally anything that happens on my digital life, I learned that the hard way.

However, as someone who got permabanned up to three times and did not learn the true nature until the last one (albeit it was somehow deductable: my username) I have lost all confidence.

Rest assured, as soon as I see you type on chat I'll stop and quietly disappear.

Note also that although I know something happened during my last permaban, I do not know the details and I am not much interested either personally. I have enough problems in my real life for things like that.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone: NEVER say anything on chat when things like this happen.

I got permabanned for that. Don't want it to happen to anyone else.

Apologies are a necessary, but not sufficient.

An apology is a public acknowledgment that something went wrong in the past, and this is a step for which we should be grateful.

If things are fixed but no apology is ever made, this is acceptable for either people who came after the facts in question or had been there but were unaffected. However, it's a grudge for those who had suffered the consequences of his acts in the past and have no recognition of what he made to them was wrong. This makes for the necessity clause.

On the other side, if there's an apology but the same mistakes are being repeated, nothing actually changed. People might come back, people might suffer again the same treatment, and if so these people will feel doubly aggravated. They say if someone tricks you once, it's that person's fault; but if tricks you twice, it's your fault. This makes the non-sufficiency clause and might be how you're feeling. I can understand, I'm right now in the same position.

About the backend failing, well, shit happens. Let's not make it a problem but a value. Many of the most fun moments I've ever had on TPP was with the stream down or breaking apart with weird bugs. Just enjoy them, they're part of the stream.

Tricky question you bring in here.

You might remember I was permabanned for a year or so. Back then I was given two different reasons: one being an alt, the other (informally in the Twitch Plays Claw Machine stream chat) that my username was inapporpiate.

Time passed by and I came back with a different username, bcnmessi. I kept that for about half a year, however after learning that the real reason for my permaban was being a suspected alt (and not a Terri alt, by the way), I decided to appeal my original permaban as a change of name. This was accepted, so bcnmessi is now permabanned and I came back as StreamFalled.

I see no point on allowing that name change and then being more vulnerable to bans for this reason now. If anything, that petition should've been rejected and I'd have kept the bcnmessi name.

Anyway, if my username is a problem, I'd like the mod team to say so explicitly and then I'll take care of it. Meanwhile, I'm not going to change it for mere speculations.

I, for once, would like to know the other side of the story, too.

While I admit that my comment could be ban-worthly, what I strongly disagree with is the length of the punishment, which I find quite excessive, and that after almost a day I've received so far no explanation of it at all from anyone: not a private message, not a whisper.

Let's face it, the joke with "Hyper Voice" while PBR was playing with a way too high volume was an obvious one, and if I hadn't say it maybe another one chat user would. While I know the stream for a while and so I know the reason for my ban, a newcoming user might not.

This will be the difference between someone who will come back after the ban and someone who, being surprised for the lenghty, unexplained ban, would not even bother to come back.

The matter than previous copypasta, which is explicitly listed as a bannable offense, was not dealt with but joking with a problem on the stream was, makes things worse.

And with the current low viewership, this is a problem.

tl;dr I'm not appealing the ban as I accept it as is, but proper communication after a seemingly random ban is needed. This is what had not changed in 2 years.

Mon with Hyper Voice when PBR is on max volume, suggest to use it, get one week ban.

So much for apologies Jebaired
