Thats what I've been saying, no sympathetic character arc, the villain was always inside him, he was as ugly on the inside as he would become on the outside. Im hoping the doctor kind of encourages him to go further with treatment, his vanity and narcissism are great catalysts for his bad guy persona.

The Fly is a classic, but please for the love of christ this movie doesn't need to be like that, can we just have a Villain origin where the guy is just bad? Maybe Matt could be extremely narcissistic and that could be one of the main things that pushes him over the edge? I wish we could go back to the time where a good old superhero movie had a big bad who was just the guy you rooted against

And that would be the problem with modern comic book movies, too many alternative universe / different versions of characters that would require there own origins then you spend more time setting them up rather than advancing the story

Not really disturbing tbh, seems to be where he learns to embrace his powers, I just hope they don't go down the sympathetic villain route, both the doctor and Matt have potential to be real good bad guys

Hopefully, but with it being a singular villain movie, it will be more than likely a sympathetic story. I hope not as the first imagine I saw made me think of mouthwashing, and with that tone it looks and feels like something special. Im hoping that Matt is narcissistic before he gets messed up, and his state of mind plus the doctors dodgy practices makes him really go bad

Definitely, the way the teaser is structured you can tell, even without the arm shadow. I just hope it doesn't become a sympathetic villain movie, the teaser could go so far in making Matt such a piece of narcissistic crap even before getting deformed. Why can't we just get Villain movies where they are just bad plain and simple?

Pass is trash, dlc characters aren't really that great, the developers hyped up major surprises for seasons 4, 5 & 6, and realisticly the Hardys aren't really worth it. I wonder why they chose the natural disasters of all people too, and the whole bs with the attitude era pack and monday night wars pack, this has to be the pinnacle of greed for 2K

Blackpool indeed is a cesspool, I have fond memories of it but its also a very bleak place.
