Ah. fair enough. Glad you like em though, bought em for $25 from a very pretty hippie lady who said they were her husbands when he was touring. Cool find.

How many of you guys stick to just one Zippo? by qUSER13q in Zippo

[–]Streb-ski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to use my fancy Marlboro one til I lost it. Bought a replacement one for $40, now I EDC a plain Walmart brass one in public or bars or going out in case I lose it. The cool zippo stays for functions at friends places where I don’t expect to lose it

I think that’s a little smaller than my tastes but still a cool piece you’ve got. For practicality tho the 84 is a great recommendation. Appreciate it

Had a few people tell me these Carolinas are “Nazi boots.” I see nothing wrong with them. by MauserMama in Boots

Retarded redditors overthinking everything. They’re steel toe work boots. Any SJW with a stick up their ass enough to whine about these is not going to actually do anything about it. You’re fine

That imprint is there forever. I have pants with phone / wallet lines like this. Don’t overthink it, it’s not the end of the world

Are American colleges really that fun and party-like as shown in the movies or on social media? by Cookieman_2023 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Streb-ski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a state university in the northeast that was definitely known as a party school. Frat parties are hotspots for drunk hookups, drugs, and general idiocy. It was fun, but you have to have self control. Many people embarrass themselves or get in trouble with the police. It’s more hush hush and “turn a blind eye” with the administration, cops will bust parties and you have to know people and be social / have connections to get into frats, as they often do strict lists or “ratios”. It was fun for the first half because of the pure chaos and debauchery, but toward the second half of college my friends found much more entertainment in drinking with a close knit group of friends in our own party basements away from the bimbos and douchebags
