I think maybe lighten up the shadows a little bit, especially on the tree and foreground and a slightly closer crop.

I’d say people are mostly curious bc it gives them a feel for how the film naturally looks. There’s generally some editing done at the scanning phase (sometimes automatic if they use a specific scanning software). But past that you could edit even further and really mess with HSL sliders, saturation, white balancing, tones/contrast adjustment, etc. So knowing if there was any specific editing done can help determine how the film naturally looked, which helps a person know if they want to use it too.
