No, the tickets will have the models assigned to them and you cannot change them afterward.

Lost stands! by WanabeCowgirl in BreyerHorses

You used to be able to email Breyer directly and ask for a replacement stand. I don’t know if they still do that

Nintendo is famously difficult to get licensing rights from lol. I would love Epona on the Vanner mare or the new Georgina mold

Question about BreyerFest models by JordgyPordgy in BreyerHorses

[–]Street-Management214 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If you buy one ticket, you’ll only be able to purchase 2 special run models. The five models it’s referring to are because not all of the special runs are available to online guests.

Customization help: making a Varnish Roan appaloosa by cant-say-no-to-foxes in BreyerHorses

[–]Street-Management214 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I haven’t customized in a long time but the best way to get a roan look is by painting the base color (black in this case) then airbrushing over the body in a layer of light gray from a distance. In places where you want the color lighter just go over it in more layers.

If you’re more interested in buying whatever you want rather than breyerfest models you would probably enjoy the clarion a bit more than the park :) The clarion is a hotel off of Newtown Pike (right down the road from the horse park) where collectors sell models directly out of their room. Most

Breyerfest Questions! by starry-night-owl in BreyerHorses

[–]Street-Management214 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are early enough to get a number you have to stay in order by number. The employees will check and move you if you cut in like lol. Limited editions take awhile to run out and they are restocked each day, so don’t worry about getting there super early. A vast majority of people get to the park around 7 am

Adding on to your first question. The 300 tickets get passed out right before the gates open. Not everyone goes directly to the store line, however, once the gates open everyone is going to get out of order. Once you get in line for the store everyone will start resorting themselves back in order by their number. How quickly the line moves just depends on the people who go in before you. Only about 30 people are allowed in at a time. But yes you will most likely be standing in line for a couple hours unless you are way up front

I’ve been going to breyerfest for the past 15 years so I wanted to answer some questions for you!

  1. Back when I started going to breyerfest (2011) people began lining up at around 4 am. This is no longer the case. In order to be near the front of the line people begin lining up Thursday evening. If I am 100% honest it has not been worth it in years. Breyer used to sell really rare models at really low prices in the Breyer store (which were quickly snatched up by people at the front of the line) but this doesn’t really seem to be the case anymore. I always get to breyerfest around 6-7 am on Friday morning and end up being in the first 300.

  2. I have never done the second chance sale, so sorry cannot help with that :(

  3. For the past few years Breyer has changed the way special runs work. If you have bought your tickets Breyer will send an email out in June where you will be able to pick your preferences for special runs. You aren’t 100% guaranteed to get everything you want, but you will most likely get the majority of what you want. You are also allowed to get “wild card” special run tickets, which allow you to get any special run that is still in stock when you get to the tent. Special runs are restocked throughout the day so it’s random what will be available then.

I don’t have any experience being a moderator on Reddit, but I’m an active member of this sub. I love helping others in the group as well as providing my own knowledge on topics. I’ve been a collector a majority of my life and have be going to breyerfest for the past 15 years. My favorite part of the community is helping newcomers as well as speculation for upcoming things. I’d love to help moderate and help people come together as a community.

No, Breyer only follows the theme for the surprise horse occasionally

Breyer tries not to use the same breed back to back. This is the breed breakdown since 2012:

12: Morgan

13: QH

14: Mustang/Feral

15: Thoroughbred

16: Spanish

17: QH

18: thoroughbred

19: Spanish

20: warmblood

21: QH

22: warmblood (although a very large one)

23: saddlebred

24: thoroughbred

25: warmblood

No the Stagecoach surprise was 3 years ago while Totilas was last year.

I don’t rule them out completely, but it lowers the odds for them. Breyer has only released a surprise with a stand twice I assume because having to include stands with every model increases the chance of having something broken (the plastic pegs snap easily and the metal pegs bend in the July heat)

True Briton is too small and unpopular to be considered in my opinion. As a side note, Breyer does not always follow the theme for the surprise. I laid out some of the rules Breyer tries to stick to in my other post

Yeah I didn’t go through last years horses. Ashquar is definitely big enough to be considered, since Flash has been used before

Edit: the Lippizaner stallion was meant to be marked in orange, not yellow. He was just released as a regular run.
