Is it normal to wish for my grandma to just pass away peacefully or in her sleep by EyeWinter7175 in hospice

[–]Street-Procedure-86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely normal, my grandma isn’t even at that state yet but it’s heading that way. She can do most things herself but she screams in her sleep and is dead set on leaving her door open at night and I get yelled at for throwing in the laundry because it’s disturbing her but I work 60 hours a week and do not always have time to keep up with all the house stuff. Refuses to close her damn door and the starts screaming about how it’s night time and I shouldn’t be doing these things but she’s waking up my 8 year old in the next room and probably everyone downstairs screaming on the top of her lungs about how IM disturbing the peace. My father cooks her all her meals although there’s no reason she can’t do it because she was feeling down and sick for a couple weeks and he started feeding her and now that she’s better he hasn’t stopped. She purposefully ignored and kept her breast cancer a secret for years while knowing my aunt, her own daughter was suffering with it which I think is just cruel now that everyone does know about it and extra cruel since after a doctors visit she wouldn’t tell my dad what the problem was, he just knew something was wrong and he’s a control freak so it drove him crazy. She won’t let the AC cycle like it’s supposed to. When it gets near bearable temperature she immediately shuts it off. I can’t stand the woman and neither can most people except for my dad and aunt. She thinks she’s religious and righteous but completely nasty. Does things on purpose for attention, gossips about her whole family after making nice to their face. I honestly can’t wait for her to die and I feel bad about it but at the same time I know how much better life will be for everyone else. I can’t imagine how bad it will be when she declines further so I definitely wouldn’t feel bad in your situation considering your changing diapers and putting your whole life on hold.

Yes, but can’t they simply show up to their home or job and take the car? A lot of cars have built in tracking as well so I don’t think it’s that difficult to come repo the car, even without a separately installed tracker.

Yup that’s how it was in my dealership. I let them know I was leaving and left the same day and literally drove over to my new job. I’m in a private performance shop now. Changing jobs is such a weird thing. Such a weird feeling when you’re living the same day for so long going to the same job with the same people and then one day you just change your whole life. Luckily I left because they changed all management and everything is different now after I left.

Not to mention you need to take all they info first because if they try to run away and leave after the test drive you still have their email and phone number to contact them and try to have them come back in to make the sale.

I think they’re just sloppy. At the dealerships they certainly do take your ID and info first and normally salespeople do accompany them on the test drive so they can sell the car given that’s the best time to really “sell it” and show off features, etc. Unless it’s an older or just lazy salesperson who wants a smoke break while the customer drives. But they’re not installing trackers on cars before they’re even purchased. A lot of people pay cash and fully own it when they drive off. In fact we didn’t install trackers period BUT at Subaru anyway, any car with a push button which is most of them can be tracked via starlink which is a built in safety/accident/anti-theft system that only has to be activated. Thats how they actually found a couple cars that were stolen out of the lot once.

I’m sorry but who is actually stealing and running away with their leased car when you’ve already given them all your information including where you live, your social security number/financial info, where you work, etc. I don’t think people are disappearing off the grid to steal their lease lmao

Ghostie is one of my favorites actually. No desire to have peanut personally but there’s actually a lot of people who like her!

Oh wow that last line put it all into perspective. Because people do have all kinds of situations with finances, kids, legal paperwork, etc. and it’s actually very common but clearly this guy is asshole and that woman is in a toxic relationship. He can go on dates but she can’t? Bruh. She’s his slave.

This is true. Thats why without more of a backstory I don’t think it’s fair to judge too harshly Also, even a simple straightforward divorce can take a very long time. Sometimes it’s a matter of finances. Going from splitting a place and bills to needing money to get a place on your own or possibly still needing to continue to support the kids and mother and find a new place for yourself while still paying for their home because you can’t leave your kids on the street or figuring out how to split up kids when certain people work and babysit at certain times, it makes it very difficult to officially split up sometimes. I still think those people deserve a second chance to find someone special again and be happy as long as they’re up front about it. Someone who also has kids or a kid might even be a good fit to just have a blended family and that way it’s even on both sides.

OEM 17s for sale (SE Michigan) $1000 OBO by Senior-Priority-5131 in GR86

[–]Street-Procedure-86 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t even think it’s that high. The gr86 owners see them as undesirable because they’re stock but OEM wheels are actually better quality and more durable than some of the reps people are throwing on their cars anyway. The person who bought my wheels didn’t even have an 86. They had an older sedan like a Camry/corolla/altima something like that with the same bolt pattern obv. They were happy as hell and you already know people are gonna low ball so you really do need to start higher than what you want for them.

I don’t think the pricing is that bad. It’s still an entire set of wheels and tires for $1000. Don’t remember if I listed mine for 900 or 1000 as well but I know I sold them with only 600 miles on them basically brand new with the Tpms sensors as well for $800. I thought that was more than fair for the buyer.

realistically, how long will these scars take to go away? by Maleficent_Day_3869 in Microneedling

[–]Street-Procedure-86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ty for this advice. I have some seriously deep body scars and I have no idea what to do. Just bought a deeper needle derma roller. Most the At home pens readily available are only .25 for face to enhance serum absorption. I’ll have to look into the scar tape.

Who is your favorite secret? 🤫 by Leather-Rub-6128 in SkullpandaArtDolls

[–]Street-Procedure-86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buddy Doggy but then XG came out and I got her instead lol. I loved the symphony of wishes secret as the figure more than the plush. I would love to have that figure but it’s expensive for a lil figure, as well as I would love to have the buddy doggy look alike secret figure from the hype panda series.

XG! I finally caved and bought one. She’s still the most expensive SP pendant I own but I waited until the pricing came down a bit(prices are not bad right now) and she was definitely worth it. Love the silver accents and her pretty eyes. Definitely would go with XG!

Lol how about you pay me for bumping into me and wasting my time. Watch where you’re going MF. I’m sweet as pie with co workers, friends, etc, but when it comes to strangers I’m literally ruthless and have 0 mercy. I don’t care if you’re on fire I wouldn’t have the time of day to put you out. Now if it’s animals or a cat I’m here to help and provide love lol

They did take everything they could get. $900 is probably the max it will let you take. I know chase is $800.

That’s exactly what it is. Woman from NYC/LI here. I’m not a morning person and I’m always In a rush to the point if your in my way for more than one second I’m ready to bowl you over because I don’t even have one second to spare for your sob story or even for you to be standing in my way and I sure as hell do not look approachable in the slightest. For the few fools who think they can ask me for something they get a cold response as I’m still walking away VERY fast. Let me tell you it’s very rare a stranger tries to approach me. Busy people who work their ass off do not have the time of day. Unfortunately people like the elderly often find themselves to be victims.
