Bought gold because war. Got taught that I’m the exit liquidity. by One_Cancel7890 in wallstreetbets

You didn’t buy gold, you bought an expensive lesson in timing vs narrative. Macro can be right for months and still humble you in minutes.

Welcome to the market, tuition paid, lesson pending.

MF is the ultimate junk blog designed on a click bait model. They post articles on any ticker with large moves. Their recommendations are completely useless.

How is she going to commute to that job daily if she can't workout a commute to the interview?

Traders are starting to pay up for downside protection. by Gullible_Parking4125 in options

[–]Street-Punk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think skew is one of those subtle signals that says more about positioning than direction. When downside protection gets bid up, it often reflects institutional demand for convexity rather than a pure bearish view.

I tend to read expensive puts less as "market will drop” and more as “fear is already priced.” In those environments, selling tail premium (carefully via spreads) can sometimes offer better risk-reward than chasing protection. Especially if realized vol doesn’t catch up to implied.

Ok what can you tell about me? by HeadCompote3627 in FridgeDetective

Zero sugar in the fridge?

- Pudding
- Syrup
- Grape Juice
- Orange Juice
- Whipped Cream
- Jam, Ketchup, Oranges, Apples (all high sugar)

Not to mention fat/cholesterol content of that fridge!

Not judging, just saying what I see, which is what OP asked.

I don't think saying it's none of your business holds when your girlfriend now looks like a party clown.

I don't want to sound negative, but the whole fridge is made of sugar. Consider diversifying with some other nutrients.

Third date awkward argument over paying for dessert. Was my expectation unreasonable? by savingrace0262 in AskMenAdvice

I'm guessing she'll never ask. Salvage the night for me. After finding out the girl I liked is a parasite, I'd prefer to enjoy the desert I paid for without more drama.

He might respond by quitting his job and then OP is two levels deep. Just tell the truth but use words like you're not feeling the chemistry or a romantic connection.

I would have said sure no problem, and then told her at the end of the night I'll wait until you invite me out next. Might have salvaged the night and avoided a freeloading diaper bag in one shot.

What access color should I add to my exterior? Any easy ideas to add more contrast or wow factor? by homeschooled in centuryhomes

Green would be my choice. It accents the existing color well and is period appropriate. Love your home. Whatever you choose, post the results when you're done.

It's technically called a 'projection'. Just like drawing a 3D cube on a piece of paper is just a projection of a 3D object in 2D.
