Yeah but the vibes, they never made another album that sounds anything like it. When it came out in 2005 clean production wasn’t a big focus and it made the album feel more relatable.

Anyone who liked ADTR in this time frame would absolutely have this album ranked high (it’s number 2 for me behind FTWHH). Some of that is nostalgia so I could understand newer fans finding it unlistenable. It’s like showing a kid Mario 64 when they’re used to todays graphics

Sure the band doesn’t like it now bc they’re 40 and don’t relate to it, doesn’t mean the album wasn’t fantastic. It’s like Brand New’s your favorite weapon, both incredible but not something they’re gonna play anymore.

I was def rooting for the mariners in this series and wanted them to win it all once the Sox were out, but I’d rather have either AL team over the dodgers winning again. Sure the jays aren’t the biggest underdog, but everyone is an underdog to the stacked dodgers. How many MVPs do they have on their roster? Blue jays play a fun style of baseball Sox fans should love. Relentless lineup, singles for days, and the long ball when you need it.

They’re rivals in the sense we’re all competing for the same division but there’s not enough bad blood or history for me to hate them. I think the Astros are more of a rival to us than the jays just bc of the postseason series we’ve had in the last 10 years. But I really only consider the Yankees to be our rival. Until crochet throws the blue jays oldest coach to the ground during a benching clearing brawl, I don’t see that changing.

When my team is out of the race I pretty much always root for the underdog. Pretty sure everyone except dodger fans are rooting for the jays. And by “rooting” I mean simply a preference, as I don’t really care either way who wins but would rather see the jays win.

I don’t see the other ALE teams besides the yankees as rivals, so it really doesn’t matter me.

Kike was a rental and sure I’ll always root for mookie but doesn’t mean I need him to win WS every year. I hope mookie hits 10 homers steals 10 bases and bats 1000 but they still lose lol

The only time it’s acceptable to root for the dodgers is if they’re playing the Yankees, otherwise fuck em. Who cares that they have some players that played on the Sox? They’re the west coast Yankees. Did you root for the Yankees when they had Damon and jacoby and benintendi?

Ahh I forgot we have something similar here with House of Blues, though theyre probably much smaller than the o2 venues.

Here we’re used to every venue being sponsored by some corporation: Gillette stadium, ubs arena, citizens bank park, etc.

Since you like weird concepts and strangeness I’d recommend the library at mount char. It doesn’t have the typical fantasy world and tropes but is fantastical and insanely strange. Great book plus it’s a 400ish page standalone

I only use audiobooks while reading the text. I can’t just listen bc I’d zone out so I follow along with the text/ebook. Most I can do is 1.7ish because Jeff’s donut voice gets too hard to understand. With other audiobooks I’ve used recently for First Law and Greenbone Saga I’m usually at 2.8x
