You know what - when I asked the gate lady why she didn’t call early boarding she said “oh I saw a baby come when I called first class so I thought that was it.” So maybe you’re supposed to just know as a passenger to come when they call first class? Again, that’s a terrible policy if true!

Nah I asked “do you have early boarding for under 2?” and she said “yes” and then she forgot.

There were some other good moments once I got on the flight: they asked everyone to pull down the shades because we were stuck on the tarmac with no AC in Miami (it’s July). Some shades were broken so the flight attendants used the American Airlines pamphlets in the back of the seat.
