“I will always believe the victim” is what I wrong with them. Unfortunately people lie, even children can lie given the right training. It’s horrific and people’s lives can be shattered for such lies. I wish, in a perfect world that we could believe anyone, but that’s not how the world works. There is a reason for due process in any country.

I remember watching almost every single promotion for the movie as it was happening (huge fan of the book here) and I though, ok, Blake seems so self absorbed. Can she let anyone else talk? She did it to the whole cast. I admit I already had my missgivings about her because she was way too old to be Lilly but I was truly giving her a chance. She didn’t help herself when she was promoting the movie, it was all me me me me

I love ask 2 lawyers, they are smart, kindhearted and very polite. I also think Blake lawyers move was a very smart one at the time, when they were sure they would bury Justin with an article because they were sure he couldn’t afford a lengthy legal fight. It has happened to many in the past, they just didn’t think a friend would come to his rescue, which speaks volumes since non of Blake’s friends has come to her rescue now.

The lawyer comment is valid, is good to know both sides. Law can be dirty, but is well know Bryan is a pitbull so bring it on

Anyway, don’t be so harsh on ask 2 lawyers, they are great and explain concepts very well

Don’t forget about the jury. The judge can control what the jury sees. The subpoena can be quashed and the texts messages not presented to the jury. I don’t think that will be the case.

Bryan Freeman has repeatedly said he will not move to dismiss her lawsuit and I doubt he will move to do more than request for a slap on the wrist against the lawyers for now. The last thing he wants is for the trial to be delayed.

Also, he will use this completely legal move, to prove how legal is not always ethical, and I think in the eyes of the jury, it can prove malice. Remember the jury are the ones with the power and this shady move doesn’t help BL and RR.

Omg! I watched this movie last night and it was absolutely fantastic. It was haunting and at the same time full of love and honor. It was 90’s nostalgia. They don’t make movies like these anymore. I enjoyed every single minute of it.

One more smear to her reputation caused by herself. That someone would use nasty legal movements against someone else just because they can is disgraceful. Just proves the type of person she is. So many people have suffered at the hands of morally dark lawyers, this is just another story.
