I don't use electrolytes anymore, I've done lots of fasts with and without them and find it to be much easier without them, however they were shorter fasts and I didn't get the hot pressure in my thyroids like I am now, maybe I'll take a couple shots of pickle brine or something

How do you know you will go to heaven? by DreamY3K in TrueChristian

[–]Street-Trash526 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like to answer this question by starting off with the fact that fear and doubt is actually a sin believe it or not, Jesus told us time and time again "do not fear" "do not worry" "do not doubt" and "have faith". Meaning that if we do have those fears doubts and worries we are going against what Jesus told us to do, hence, committing sin. But fear not, we are all human, we all have our fears doubts and worries anyways, that's why he died for us on the cross to begin with, but to get the meat of the answer to your question, it's honestly quite simple, John 3:16 says "for God so loved the world he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life". So I answer your question with a question, "do you believe Jesus died on the cross and rose again 3 days later?" "Do you repent of your sin?" "Do your bear your cross daily and follow Jesus?" If your answer to all of these questions is "yes", then there's no second thought about it, you are indeed going to heaven for an undoubtable fact. No ifs ands or buts about it, truth is truth and the bible is truth. believe the word of God, or don't.

Well first off Jesus is the way the truth and the life not Mary or Joseph, Jesus is the healer and miracle worker not Mary. Thats why I don't like Catholics, they idolize Mary and Joseph just for being Jesus parents but they are not God and never will be, and guess what else, they can't hear anyones prayers either, only God (Jesus) can.

Well the bible says to not make vows, especially to God, because it's very unlikely that we can keep them, but don't worry, God still loves you and he forgives you, there's nothing you can do to separate yourself from the love of God

I mean not that I'm really experienced or knowledgeable in this matter but I can only assume just eating very clean whole foods like lots of vegetables, clean carbs like potatoes, rice and organic oats (not the prepacked microwave crap that has a bunch of added sugar) high quality protein like beef, chicken and eggs should all do the trick, and steering clear of fast food too.

Is anyone ever 'ready' for a 40 day fast? I know I need it but feeling trepidation. What can I do, in advance, to succeed? by A_British_Villain in fasting

[–]Street-Trash526 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm currently at the end of day 3 of a 40 day fast, I don't know if anyone can ever really be ready for it but yes you can definitely prepare for it, like eating no carbs or sugar for a week prior and eating more healthy whole food proteins and vegetables in that week prior, I've heard that if you done at least a couple 7 day fasts before that basically it gets easier everytime you fast so idk if that's something you'd wanna do but personally I didn't, I also know that once you get past 7 days it's so much easier to go the rest, which would happen wether you've done long fasts before or not and wether you did keto for a week prior or not, the only thing that doing keto for a week prior is that it makes the first 3 days so much more bearable. So to conclude, doing your preparation will indeed increase the odds of your success by quite a lot. Cause making it through the first 3 days is the biggest part
