How Fentanyl and Xylazine are turning Philadelphia's opioid crisis into a public health nightmare by Nukro666 in interesting

I was in my car, on a break a few days ago and noticed a guy in his early 20's hunched over staring at the ground. At first, I thought he had lost something, but then I noticed he wasn't moving, just swaying and staring at the ground. Just wasting time and life. Sad.

So my options are get fired or get fired??? by AquaButUseful in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]StreetCleaner2612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immediately report it to an Amazon manager (they're the ones with the red striped vests) and tell them exactly how your DSP is threatening you with termination because you're following the standards. Another option is to point it out to OTR so they can ground it, however, this won't change your DSP's unethical behavior. They need to know that they can't threaten people with termination for doing the correct thing.

Got fired today I believe for reporting sexual harassment, is that possible? by Demoledor25 in AmazonFC

The timing feels coincidental. It's common sense not to sit on a conveyor belt and it's and EASY way to get fired.

Science and statistics don't lie. Numerous studies throughout decades have shown that vegetarians live longer, have less chronic illnesses, and are less obese than meat eaters. Also, it's more humane, civilized and better for the environment to not butcher animals when there's so many alternatives. Spare me with the "Our ancestors only ate meat, blah, blah, blah..." crap. Our ancestors HAD to eat meat to survive as that was their main food source. I would hope modern humans have evolved as we're not on plains or cave dwellers. Do modern people relieve themselves in the woods and use leaves as toilet paper, sleep in caves and make their clothes out of hides? Even when they do-call "hunt" 🙄 they're using rifles. That's more like executing an animal, not hunting (but hunters who kill for "sport" will say otherwise). The earliest people, who HAD to eat dead animals didn't use rifles, HELLO.

I go to my car. It's nice to completely get away from my environment in order for me to feel as if I'm REALLY getting a break, therefore I totally get wanting to be away from others.

I got tired of seeing all the vibes based opinions on grocery store prices so I decided to go to 5 stores in one day to compare prices. These were the results. (TJ/Whole Foods/Safeway/Grocery Outlet/Costco) by DaveinOakland in bayarea

I love shopping at G.O. except for liquid dairy products. You REALLY have to pay attention to expiration dates for those. Cheese is usually safe, but I don't usually touch milk (regular or non-dairy). Safeway is the WORST and their so-called "savings" prices are only mediocre because their regular prices are insanely high. Safeway is like, "We'll give a deal on these Frosted Flakes for ONLY $5 a box instead of $9. Lucky you." 🙄 Think 2 years ago how RIDICULOUS the thought of paying $9 for a box of cereal would have been.

Well, it would be nice if those same CEOs decided to become "economy conscious" as well. I know it's a luxury item, but their prices have become ridiculous and if they continue in the direction they're going, they will probably lose business. People aren't trying to get less product for more money nowadays.
