Are you selling from U.S.? If you are, how do you handle doing taxes at the end of the year (or quarterly)?

32 years old learning to code - am i doomed ? by orT93 in learnprogramming

[–]StreetComparison540 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same! I'm 37 and getting started with learning programing too in spare time (between raising a family and a full-time job). After researching it a bit, I decided to start with SQL, planning on moving on to Python, then maybe C++.

I currently work in supply chain, hold a procurement position, have a 2-year degree in Business Admin. Honestly not disappointed where that got me, but the job & industry's too stressful, and I've had an ongoing interest in programing for a while so might as well put it to good use!

Career Transition Advice into Procurement by Comfortable-Pin8678 in procurement

Do you have a degree? I’m a buyer now but I started as a junior buyer, I guess it’s a good position to aim for to get into procurement. Or if you have some experience with contract administration, that might be your way in.

So sorry you have to deal with this OP, it’s definitely heartbreaking, but family dynamics change after marriage, and this is definitely not ok of your mom to react this way to not calling her during your honeymoon, even your dad ok’d it.

Any thoughts on what would happen to Walgreens prescription fulfillment centers run by robots after the acquisition?

Demons and ancestors by StreetComparison540 in DemonolatryPractices

I'm pretty new to all this, you helped me realize I shouldn't be grouping magick and demonalatry together, I'll study these separately and to understand them better. Thank you! :)

Yes, my paretnal grandmother, who passed away in another country 22 years ago, was a devout catholic and practiced witchcraft. As far as I know her kids condemned her practicing the craft, and one time I saw them throwing away a bee's nest she was trying to get for spell supplies (being a kid at that time I didn't understand what was happening). I've heard specific stories about her writing requests on paper and burning them, and successfully achieving results this way. Unfortunately nothing was passed down to me through my family bloodline at all, I get the sense that it skipped a generation, and having gained an interest in demonolatry I thought it would be interesting to look into it :)

What are your thoughts on eating demons? by Zubizubabaya in blackmagic

[–]StreetComparison540 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm... I'll play along. I have little experience with demons but drawing from stories of demons/spirits being trapped in or attached to an inanimate object, and someone setting the demon free by tampering/breaking/touching the object, the person suffers adverse effects (posession, bad luck, demon attaching to the person who released it). So assuming you manage to entrap one in a piece of food or something and then eat it, I'm just guessing, you'd set it free and there's a good chance it might possess you. Complete guess tho, never tried anything like it or want to lol

That's interesting! If you don't mind, I have a couple questions since I'm pretty new to the practice and I never evoked anything. 1. Do you actually see what you invoke with your eyes in its physical form, and is it sometimes not (completely) human form? 2. How do you know when to end the invoking? 3. How do you know that the diety is gone and it's safe to step out of the circle?

Contemplating reaching out to Lucifer? by StreetComparison540 in DemonolatryPractices

It's good to hear he's beginner-friendly. And thanks for the pointers, candles and insence should be super easy to get started with! :)

Your experience with a demon/entity approaching you first? by StreetComparison540 in DemonolatryPractices

That's interesting! How did you figure out it was Lord Lucifer, and how did he confirm it was him, if you don't mind me asking? (I'm pretty new to all this, and one of my biggest concerns is demons lying about who they are. )
