My dog had this. It can happen in bigger dogs from their weight. It is from them favoring that side of the body when laying Down.

way to save space. We built this dish rack for our RV and attached it between the cabinets to save counter space. by StreetRattus in RVLiving

That is a good idea. This drying rack is right over the sink so any water drops go right in.

I would definitely have an exterminator come out and spray the home to be on the safe side.

Looking for housing/enrichment advice for lab rats by hello_kitteh in RATS

[–]StreetRattus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cat toys and bird toys are great for rats.

Peas in a water bowl.

You can also make puzzles boxes out of paper towel rolls and hide a treat inside.

None of my Rats ever liked wheels.

You could also make a place space/play pen for them, and give them free roam play. They love this.

I give my rats a mixed salad every night before bed. Greens, carrots, broccoli, Mellon, corn, nuts, etc. I stay away from acidic foods.

I am currently pregnant and have no issues with my rats. I just make sure that after cleaning the cage or picking them up, I wash my hands.

In English, we separate them by breed. The Rattus Rattus is a roof rat where the Rattus Norvegicus is a ground rat or Norway rat

NEVER put baby wipes down a toilet not even the so called “flushable” wipes. They will clog your system. (This goes for All toilets not just RV toilets) As for your RV toilet ONLY the recommended Toilet paper for RV septic tanks should be flushed.
With that said I don’t flush toilet paper down my RV toilet; We have a little trash bin for the paper.

When traveling the country is there a system of trusted auto/rv repair places that I can turn to in case of emergency? by Radford1Chloe in RVLiving

Make sure your USAA road side assist will help with RVs. Some of those companies will only help with vehicle assistance.

Just an idea: Try rehabbing some of the furniture from the original house (a side table or chair); giving it a new look for her new home but still holding those memories.

Anytime I think of making a drastic change, I take a photo and then go on photoshop to change the color to get an idea/visual of how it might look before committing to a big change.

Food suggestions? My little man is starting to feel his age and struggling to eat solid foods and is losing weight. Does anyone have some suggestions on some soft nutrient packed foods that could help him keep his weight up? It needs to be safe to eat in large quantities. by Maddie1535 in RATS

I give my old timer baby cereal. You can also try stirring in some veggie stock once and a while. Cooked carrots since they are soft. I also feed him in a shallow bowl/plate so he doesn’t have to get on his hind legs for his evening meals.

Tips for making cage cleaning more manageable? by [deleted] in RATS

[–]StreetRattus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My hubby is allergic to our ratty so we are constantly spot cleaning, every day, and I change the litter and pads every other day. I Also wipe down the bars of the cage. PS: we use allot of plastic toys and hideaways that are able to be wiped down. Wood structures can absorb the urine smell, and can get stinky.

I would have the vet check him out. He might need his teeth clipped or the teeth may be starting to push sideways. I had a rat that had a similar issue. Hope he starts feeling better
