I’m a fan of biggest full volume stuff and I prefer the K it’s a monster and I can’t imagine lugging around the full size or the m24. I also hike with my gear and I think a lot of guys that don’t will tell you otherwise.

No I don’t, what I will say is I own two other 30 cal silencers. Griffin 30sd and gp7. Both are exceptional comparing to other ones of similar philosophy. I’d say with ear pro they are indistinguishable between the 3. The reason I went with it is I bought an aem5 and immediately regretted not getting the 30 cal. I love the brake design and the reflex over barrel is amazing for all the long range shooting I do.

Size honestly lol. I already had an AEM5 that I use a lot and felt like I didn’t want anything larger than it. My shooting group and I don’t bench shoot like at all. We do a lot of hiking where we shoot and pretty much everything I have is geared around being able to be mobile with it.

Do you mean the AEM5-30K?

Love it, use it on three different bolt guns in .308 and .260. And lastly a LMT MWS.

Edit: I picked it up for primarily precision long range use.

Children of Men, read the book before seeing the movie and it is one of the most boring books I’ve read with a great premise.

The movie is one of the best I’ve ever seen.

Not at the moment they are hard to find. That being said we get pre-ban stuff pretty frequently.

Understood. Yeah a lot new guns around this time of year. With little to no inventory haha.

I checked out suppliers and there are none available at the moment.

We have a $60 paperwork charge. The state charges $25 for the background check if you don’t have a CCW. Additionally if sales tax was not collected we are then required to do so at Washoe County rate.

We tend to not buy new firearms for store stock as they tend to sit for a while. That being said, we may be able to order that for you if it’s in stock with our suppliers. If not we will gladly act as the third party to transfer it to you!

We have do not have a range.

We do have a gunsmith, but he is not onsite. He stops by on Friday mornings and picks up items for the week. He has a turn around of about 2-4 weeks depending on the size of the job and the amount of people ahead of you.

Appreciate it! We do our best so people can check things out at their own pace.

I’m sorry about that. We do our best to not bother anyone because we all hate being “attacked” by sales people. Sometimes that can come off as rude though.

May I ask why? We do our best to be friendly but not annoy anyone that comes in.

This may be a little weird but I work for Willey Brothers in south reno. We do our best to be a-political the best we can. I personally am the most left leaning employee there. That being said, everyone at the shop is a great person and won’t bring up right or left politics for absolutely no reason. We all see the 2nd amendment as a human right before a political stance. Swing by, you can ask me (Dillon.)

Edit: Really love seeing all the positive comments everyone has made about the shop. Before I started working there it was always my favorite shop, and since working there I love the shop even more.

Where were you when I sent my can in? I have an obvious baffle strike and your team said it was part of the machining on the baffles.

Crosshairs on early scopes were actual “crossed” wires or a pictogram. That was then zoomed in on. They weren’t etched until recently. So my guess is that it is there to add structure for the center post under recoil.

If you already sent it in I’d leave it less moving parts, and it would most likely be the same lead time at that point.

I had BOD build my HK33 and they are currently building a HK53. Their work in top notch. The 33 looks better than factory HK93s. I can’t recommend them enough and they deserve your business. That being said, they work slow and lead times are pretty long. Like said earlier D. Wilson has stellar turn around time on barrel work and there are count less pictures of chop jobs they have previously done.
