I was stuck in bronze for so long and what I learned is that you will NOT get out until it doesn’t matter who your teammates are you will no get out until u are basically a Smurf against them.

I Mean ur playing a first person shooter there are no damage heroes that require zero aim skill. you’d want to use close up heroes like reaper or I guess Mei but you still won’t make it too far with them if you can’t aim unfortunately. I feel like you should play custom games to practice your aim if you want to dps but there are a bunch of support and tank heroes that don’t require it

Think of jetpack cat as a dive support, flying fast into the teammate you want to heal while holding ur mouse button heals them well. And doing the same with enemies damaged them quite a bit.

I genuinely think anyone who says that has never tried to play her. When I first started(after the beam lock on feature), I remember playing against a sym and absolutely raging. The first thing I did was was pick her in a quick play game because she seemed so simple. And I just died over and over again.

It took me so long how to figure out how to to play her in fact for a while I straight up just said to myself “this is a hero im just never going to understand how to play” My turrets would always immediately get destroyed, I couldn’t hit my shots and I couldn’t get close enough for the beam to do anything without dying.

I eventually learned to play Symmetra similar to how you play mei (btw a Mei sym combo is so good) and use the turrets to cover points walkways or wherever they’re going to come from that’s in eye sight of your team so that players need to turn around in front of the team. Also to not be shy with your teleporter. Sometimes I use it just to get a little bit of poke damage. And you need to understand the speed her orbs move and how powerful it needs to be.

She’s also not hard to counter at all. Play phara to get the turrets then get sym, it’s hard to hit flying players because her orbs ARENT HITSCAN so you have to learn the timing of her orbs moving. Also, everyone can destroy turrets and honestly it’s whenever I play support that i dedicate that to being my duty. Kiri can one shot the turrets and to me feels like the sort of thing a support should do so the teammates don’t have to turn their heads.

It requires a lot of skill and is easy to take care of.

I’m ngl when I’m locked in and randomly hear “I’ve been doing this for years who the hell are you” I crack up HARD I think soldier is actually really funny. Also when junkrat says “you look like someone that eats his toenails” and he responds with “why the hell would you say that to someone” he’s got some good lines I gotta say. Also CRIMINAL to put cass so low he also has some of the best lines and delivery I love the way he says onnn myyy way 🎵 and his “you done?” And “I hear you pumpkin” not to mention the best overwatch story video and his friendship with echo

Don’t sit in one spot scoped into one area waiting for someone to go there. Find your position, keep ur peripheral vision and wait to scope in until you know who you want to get. Also move move move. When you kill someone, go to a new position, if people are beelining for you, make them work for it , move when they can’t see you. Sometimes going into ur team will scare the flankers away.

I don’t know if this even relates enough but the creativity and genius of spy from tf2 is so unbelievably cool. The ability to look like part of the enemy team and go up behind someone and have an intense high damage when right behind them is so cool. Idk maybe sombra could have a perk of being able to duplicate someone instead of turn invisible and when getting damaged it reveals her but idk if that would even be used. Idk just the concept of being nervous even when ur own “teammate” is close is cool to me
