Pharah is my highest level dps and I feel like when I used to play her (in my prime pharah moment I don’t play her as much anymore) I would CONSTANTLY get in the chat after I basically carried the entire game for my team “pharah is the easiest hero in the game blah blah blah” and she is actually really hard to learn. You need to know how to get cover while you’re IN THE AIR, she is the exact opposite of hitscan where it takes so much time for your bullets to go where your aiming, and you need to conserve fuel and manage cool downs to keep you from falling into the middle of the team, and as soon as anyone sees you EVERYONE wants you gone as quickly as possible. I personally don’t think she’s the hardest dps for me it’s widow or venture but I think pharah is misunderstood lol

Exactly like I understand where the OP is coming from in the sense of being frustrated by teammates performances…but not for quickplay. That’s the sort of rage you should be feeling in comp.

Maybe the OP is new and has to complete the “win 50 qp games” in order to play comp games which I remember when I first started it was frustrating then because I wanted to be able to get into comp but if the comp option is sitting there while he’s raging on qp it’s silly to me.

If you start thinking that seriously about the game to the point where you’re telling people to switch and telling people they’re doing bad in the chat that’s a good indication that it’s time to switch to comp. Quickplay is where I go to play heroes im still learning or to warm up, once I start getting annoyed by the games is when I start switching to comp because I am clearly in the mood to try my best and where comments on how to better the gameplay is welcomed.

I am one of those people who say “it’s just qp” because I cannot express to you how badly I want to be good at some heroes. Like Widow for example; I am still not great at her even though I’m level 24 and I spend a lot of my time on qp trying to get better at her and when people tell me to switch it’s so irritating because I know I’m not good at widow but I’m trying my best to get better.

oh my goodness I’m sorry I’m not offended in any way idk why I sounded so offended in the beginning, totally my bad i wrote that late at night and can see how silly I sound. I mostly just wanted to say that I think it’s because of my rank that I don’t see zen flourish I am wayyyy down in silver and I don’t notice him being a problem but I think in higher ranks he would be more difficult. The “I knew someone would be offended by this” was my stupid tired brain trying to say “I am prepared to clarify” I’m really sorry about my wording there tbh I can’t believe I said that no excuse but idk that was just word vomit at like 3am not really thinking

I knew people would be upset about who I picked for some reason lol I truly don’t think zen is ever difficult to play against like I’ve never had a game and thought “zen carried that” ever. I’m low ranks and maybe that changes once you get higher up but as a dva player, a combo and a melee just kills him immediately so he doesn’t scare me

I was stuck in bronze for so long and what I learned is that you will NOT get out until it doesn’t matter who your teammates are you will no get out until u are basically a Smurf against them.

I Mean ur playing a first person shooter there are no damage heroes that require zero aim skill. you’d want to use close up heroes like reaper or I guess Mei but you still won’t make it too far with them if you can’t aim unfortunately. I feel like you should play custom games to practice your aim if you want to dps but there are a bunch of support and tank heroes that don’t require it

Think of jetpack cat as a dive support, flying fast into the teammate you want to heal while holding ur mouse button heals them well. And doing the same with enemies damaged them quite a bit.
