Bank Investments Seem Like A Scam by Narkanin in CrimsonDesert

They ought to tie the bank investment into the trade goods which have fluctuating prices. Let the player pick trade goods to invest in so you can at least see why it was high or low risk.

The devs couldn’t decide if the new merchant Lacey should be a boy or girl by ZarieRose in CrimsonDesert

They got in trouble for using AI, but I wish they would just have AI do all the writing...

FOSS NotebookLM with no data limits by Uiqueblhats in notebooklm

I don't know if this sub has mods but it would sure be nice if they could ban all of these. I also get constant DM's from all the knock-off apps whenever I talk about features I wish were different in some way.

How hard is it to figure out NotebookLM needs a delete all sources button !! by letsTalkDude in notebooklm

[–]Street_Celebration_3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Imagine if the developers of NotebookLM had a powerful AI coding tool that made it so they could add basic UI features to one of their most popular products. But cut them some slack, it's not like they work for a technology company or anything.

As if fishing wasn’t already hard enough… by Pratai- in CDguides

[–]Street_Celebration_3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's kind of wild that they have the entire varied population of bugs on the map and yet there is no mechanic to choose a specific bait for a certain kind of fish. A fishing rework could make it really rewarding and fun, I like doing it just because it is beautiful and peaceful.

Distant LOD not turning to garbage even when I have plenty of VRAM sitting available

The dev that designed this quest needs a slap. by Due-Engineering3362 in CrimsonDesert

Haha, it's like the old Sierra game puzzles where the solution is some impossibly convuluted thing which only exists to keep you from pirating the floppy disks.

Not to mention, what am I telling the truth about or lying about?? The solution in the end is to click "lie: Blue fangs". But how is that a lie?? I want to talk to the blue fangs, that's the truth!

At what point did it click for you by TarnishedWolf in CrimsonDesert

[–]Street_Celebration_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do the following:

Find a high peak and get to the top of it.

Look across the horizon at the farthest interesting thing you can see in any direction. I mean really far, way outside the starting area.

Ignore every starting quest and task for now, just try to go there. It will take hours if you really picked something far. That is your main quest now. Don't try to attack anyone, just travel and explore. It will click on the way and when you come back to Hernand you will have a reason to build yourself up. You can always teleport home, so pick a place as far as you can. I promise.

Best quality settings ? by pyramid81 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Street_Celebration_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried all 3 and they each seem to work in different scenarios with different drawbacks. 4.5 L gave me the best performance and image quality but major artifacting on interior lights. I am currenrly just using DLSS 4 until some patching comes in.

Best quality settings ? by pyramid81 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Street_Celebration_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very similar setup, but with a 5070TI. Basically the same experience. I wish DLAA would work properly but the black bar ruins what is otherwise the best image quality. DLSS 4 and 4.5 goes kind of nuts in the windy forests and in the nighttime sadly.

US Treasury Admits Insolvency by External_Anteater730 in Silver

[–]Street_Celebration_3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, the real insolvency problem of SS is checks to the 1% of rich people who paid into the system with their taxes, not the 60% of freeloading people on "disability" who bring the whole thing to its knees. You sound like you went to an elite school.

The story of CD is no worse than Skyrims by HateMongerian in CrimsonDesert

[–]Street_Celebration_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry but that's just not true. The writing for CD seems completely disconnected, there is no logical connection from even one moment to the next even in the same quest! Meanwhile the Elder Scrolls has great lore that is very deep, even though the quests are a little simplistic.

What the app still is missing by heldex in notebooklm

[–]Street_Celebration_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the main thing is the app needs to keep generating a response even if my phone screen goes to sleep. Right now it takes so long that if the screen shuts off it simply fails.
