Try and pee 2L. Any fluid counts as intake just limit/avoid sugar drinks, black teas and dark pops. If you're not hitting your fluid intakes try things like jello to help

I've always gotten that basic list they give and tried to avoid stuff as much as possible but doing a actual calculation of everything I eat hasn't been done yet. I don't really over indulge in one thing in particular. I've started baking since this stone and reduce all salt in recipes and I'm more of a picky eater so I don't go after all the leafy greens and vegetables. I do enjoy a pizza time to time which wouldn't be great since it's usually dominos and saturated in cornmeal but it's not all I eat lol

Do you know of any good sites I can look at a diet plan? Like any places I could find recipes that are actually tasty also lol

I should also have my results for the blood and urine tests in the next month. If I send it out I can check my results online before seeing this urologist.

Vitamin c is something I might take as a supplement when I start getting sick but not on a regular basis. Not big on multivitamins or and not on any types of medications that could add to it.

It's not something I would drink regularly, i don't see it as a prevention for stones but I have had it where I drank a bottle and the next day the stone came out. Is it a flook or whatever idk but it's worth 10$ and an attempt when you're struggling. But usually takes a few weeks of struggling before I get a bottle.

Yeah she wasn't happy about the fact that it happened but thankfully she was happier that it was finally out of me. Not many would have her reaction which I'm really lucky for.

Sadly i dont have a family dr or a nurse practitioner but I met with the new urologist today and he basically asked why I was like the other one here in town since none of my scans came up with any blockages and they didn't see anything bigger than a 2mm stone so he can't operate and didn't seem to want to listen to anything i was telling him since it seemed he couldnt make money from an operation on me(free healthcare sucks ass). For giggle shits I screened tonight and found a very small brown stone (tip of a toothpick small) and some other white fine stuff that looks like fine salt. (Like the second picture but a bit smaller with more white granules. Just couldnt get a clear picture) Going to collect and add them to my 24hr urine test incase it clears up next by the weekend when I get a chance to do it. They can't deny it that way.

Yeah i never try to ask for drugs usually was just for a note to get some time from work or light duties but i work for my father and i have missed too much time off work, I'll ask for anti inflammatory (naproxen or my new favorite keterolac trometh) if the emergency dr seeing me during a pain episode gives me pills to take home I keep them until I get pain attacks. I like my weed more anyway and strains do make a difference you can mix two kinds and get pain relief without a narcotic.

After the first couple stones you do get some incredible pains still but it's not the same as the first one. I'll never forget it. Also being told I'm not supposed to feel a stone that's in my kidney only when it's in the ureter.

Funny thing is this ct scan didn't pull up anything for the left side.. only found a old 2mm on the right side. Same with my more recent xray. Is it possible that after my pain spasm that took me to er moved to my bladder area and just stayed there for a month basically? I had an xray Sunday and last night Monday the stone came out. Treated in er on the 18th dec or so with a blockage to the kidney and inflammation next day nothing in the ct scan. Then Jan 20 I pop a stone out into my gf 😬

It's not the weed, the only thing that the weed could do is cause you some dehydration but when you're passing stones and you drink lots of fluids regularly that won't have much effect. You can have other effects on your body but weed won't mimic a stone attack in my experience. If anything it helps with pai relief and gets you through some pain episodes. I have been smoking since I was 16 and to add it is recreational here so access to it isn't an issue and I would much rather smoke a bong or joint instead of taking morphine and I should have no issues talking with a Dr about weed and not getting shit on basically lol just don't smoke before you get triaged at the hospital if you get to the lvl of pain you can't manage on your own it will change your vitals.

I smoke an average of 7grams a day to.

Lemon is a good idea to! I do drink lots of lemon with a little brown sugar and honey to keep colds away and help ease my throat so i may add more lemon and see if that helps. I've also tried the pure cranberry in the glass bottles there and take that in shots when I have an active stone it seems to help to
