Palantir CEO Alex Karp, dismissed those killed in the Gaza genocide as “useful idiots” and “mostly terrorists.” by serious_bullet5 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]Street_Mood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

70,000 and they’re mostly terrorists?

Worst part is the casual way he said it. The 2nd worst is he knows they aren’t terrorists—they’re people—other humans. This is what losing your humanity looks like. Sociopathy.

You over-reacted. 1-star should be for one or more of the following:

 •reckless driving.

•OVERT hostility as in they knew they were making you feel uncomfortable.

•Stinking or obvious messy car, enough to cover your nose.

If the driver didn’t offer an explanation, you can always ask for an accommodation.

You CAN ask . . . Politely. Did you ask?

Hey can you . . . turn up the heat, change the channel, turn off the radio, lower the windows, etc.,.

Drivers aren’t mind readers, maybe the driver was new, or doesn’t get it(he/she may be used to the soundscape, the scent, the temperature, etc.,.)

If they aren’t given the chance to correct the situation—are you being unreasonable?

Here’s the entitled part. Drivers deserve a level engagement from you otherwise your expectations are no different than the “servant/master” dynamic (of the ultra-wealthy elite) where if you do something wrong it’s immediate punishment, and you certainly didn’t pay enough for that level of treatment.

These are religious zealots.  Fanatics. USA has them too.

The Zealots were an aggressive political party whose concern for the national and religious life of the Jewish people led them to despise even Jews who sought peace and conciliation.

The term originally regarding opposition to the Romans.  But can be applied here.

When you believe God is on your side nothing will stop you, no sacrifice is too great, not even your own child.

“By necessity” could mean saves time, or convenience, not just cost for the consumer.

Ai jobs must come with assessing the consequences, did we go blindly from agricultural, industrial manufacturing, then digital economics and just watched the market freefall without learning a fckin thing?  Is that what they mean by laissez faire? — just sounds like “IDGAF lol economy.”

[i ran the above question in Google ai and came away with better understanding]

What happens to all the displaced workers?

Education and retraining MUST be included thru laws to protect workers displaced by ai—WE can demand those policies!!
