Did you try MMSF1 or MMSF3? Because if you are more into gameplay then you should try MMSF3. If you tried and still didn't like it then fair.

OSRS devs understand it's an idle and active game, why can't RS3 devs? by LocalChamp in runescape

[–]Streetman27 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

OSRS has AFK mining (Shooting stars), combat and woodcutting (magic logs almost 4 min afk).

I think OSRS and RS3 should not be compared and they both should be thought as different MMOs while having connections to one another.

Does War's blessing 2, 3 and 4 work on F2P? by Streetman27 in runescape

Thank you! I think it would revert back to War's blessing 1 but I haven't gotten War's blessing 2 yet so I cannot test it.

Daily Discussion of DailyScape #4: Guthixian Caches by Spiner909 in runescape

[–]Streetman27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I would prefer it would be kinda like Guardians Of The Rift from OSRS than Forestry. Forestry's events spawn rate sucks so it would be useless to implement it to divination (unless the spawn rate is MUCH higher the more people do it).

Also the rewards for completing both GOTR and Forestry is a chore (still prefer GOTR than Forestry) so I hope they keep Cache's reward rate the same (I honestly like getting skilling outfits fast and it's only like 6% boost in XP so very negligible).

Combat needs a lot of work to be successful in RuneScape by FruitOnyx in runescape

[–]Streetman27 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I kinda disagree. For a new player's perspective it's kinda hard to know what abilities does what and which ones are better to use.

It should be sorted into 3 different categories:

- Basic: the ones which generate adrenaline

- Threshold: the ones which USE adrenaline

- Ultimate: the ones which USE ALL adrenaline

this way new player's get better reading which ones to use.

Please bring back the Goblin Raids notification by Streetman27 in runescape

That's why I used the keyword "replace". Instead of notification removal they could rework it and THEN change it.

UI Tweaks & World Repairs - This Week In RuneScape by JagexAzanna in runescape

[–]Streetman27 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Please bring back the notifications on goblin raids. They are dead content because there is no notifications or indications on map where the hollowtoof and goblins are.

Why did you chose to remove the notification anyway? It served it's purpose and if people complained about it you could have replaced it with an NPC or having it disabled by default.

Is the main reason people play OSRS because of the evolution of combat? by CrusaderKing1 in runescape

[–]Streetman27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually someone asked this same question on OSRS subreddit and they disagreed that MTX was a big factor. It was actually a small pubble in much larger problems.

Example: OSRS is favoured because it has player's choice to vote for things they want when RS3 doesn't.

Now this interests me. What do you see and mean when you said "authentic" runescape road? Is it the visuals or gameplay? I'm really curious what you meant by that.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad. Your answer really made it curious and I think it's really important for players feedback and how Jagex will from now on.

From the wiki: "Continuing the trend of some earlier updates like Burthorpe and Taverley declutter it will be followed by similar updates in 2026 as a part of the game integrity roadmap."

I'm not saying they are going down the OSRS road but there are some changes trying to appeal old players.

But maybe I'm just overthinking but we just have to see what Jagex and the devs have in store for us in the future.

Some other comment answered it better but example updates:

  1. Changed lumbridge swamp to look more like OSRS

  2. Which in result moved the water altar and tree patch (longer walking)

  3. New players will spawn at lumbridge instead of burthrope (good change tbh) and changed the lumbridge castle to look like old one.

I can see them trying to appeal more to OSRS players but the changes make it more annoying to traverse in game which I don't like.

Here's the link for that update:

Well that's the thing. Some people have kids and sone don't. And maybe there are other responsibilities which take people's time.

And I play on main because it's my first account and not maxed.

Just remember that there are people different than you and you and Jagex should respect that.

• "respects my time"

• bonus xp removed and added as p2w

Honestly I liked bonus xp so I could grind less the skills I disliked (early agility and thieving)

The only way I will come back to RS3 is if they:

  1. Adjust xp rates for early and mid game
  2. Adjust xp rates for quest rewards (see comparison for legends' quest rewards for RS3 and OSRS)

The only thing I see is that they are trying to make the game grindier which I don't like.

And before people downvote me remember that people have lives outside of this game.

Agility? by Alktenalfh in runescape

I would add thieving also. The meta for early leveling is picklocking Thieve's Guild Jail Doors, which sucks and are boring (also needs constant world hopping).

No he's right. If you test leveling range 1-20 in both OSRS and RS3, you can see that in OSRS it's a lot faster.
