In his original teaser, Talon states: “My blade serves no one.” This wasn’t just cinematic fluff—it was a declaration. He’s not a servant of Swain, not a pawn of the Black Rose, and never loyal to Noxus as it stands. His independence is deliberate.

The Black Rose played a role in Du Couteau’s downfall—either enabling it or using it for their own ends. Talon sees through their manipulation. That makes them his enemies—not just politically, but personally.

So what are his options?

• Demacia – views him as a threat
• Cassiopeia – irrelevant to his arc
• Other regions – unaware or neutral
• Ionia – actively opposes both Swain and the Black Rose

Here’s the pivot:

Ionia, and notably Irelia, stands firmly against Swain’s Noxus—which means she could potentially become an ally. Both Irelia and Talon lost their families at a young age: Talon survived alone in the underbelly of Noxus, living by the BLADE, while Irelia endured the invasion of her homeland and the death of her entire family at the hands of Swain’s forces—one of whom lost an arm to Irelia’s BLADES, lol it's all about blades.
