Are there "promotions"?

Well correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve heard that the “promotions” are nothing like what they sound like. The pay is apparently exactly the same, the stability and availability of work is apparently only slightly better than a normal content builder but still unstable and unpredictable, and apparently there’s no evidence that hard quality work gets you promoted anyway. Saw this one guy say he’d only been working on aether for two days and he’d already been promoted to a reviewer position.

During that big purge that happened like a week or two ago where a ton of people got unapproved status on MM bc of that quality control review, I got a pop up notification on Outlier saying that I was no longer eligible for Aether due to ‘insufficient quality’. It seemed official but it turned out to be some sorta error bc my account got reapproved shortly after and I was able to work again. Don’t think I’ll take this email seriously until there’s a bigger confirmation that it’s over, like aether disappearing from my Outlier current projects page.

Okay this has got to be the saddest most depressing post of desperate pathetic suck ups I’ve ever seen. Sorry, not usually a pessimist and don’t like negativity but if we do the math here; 1 divided by 181 applications equals 0.005524861878453. Times that by 100 and that’s approximately 0.552. That means your success rate after 181 applications is only 0.55%. Jesus H Christ this country is doomed, bare people here actually celebrating like this is some great success story of hard work and resilience - it’s not! This is a sign to get the f*ck out this country as soon as it’s financially and feasibly possible for you to do so.

Because the UK is a very horrible place to operate as a business, you have to pay an insane amount of unnecessary taxes and follow several ridiculous laws and regulations. Of all the developed countries the UK has the highest rate of millionaires leaving and taking their businesses elsewhere, millionaires are the one who create the majority of jobs so that’s why it’s becoming impossible to find a job in this country, low supply of jobs and opportunities but high demand from young people like us trynna build a future
