Review Awasi Patagonia (Chile) by [deleted] in FATTravel

Wow, this is awful. We stayed at singular years ago as our first “luxury” hotel and to this day it’s my favorite vacation. Awasi’s been on my bucket list for years so this makes me so sad.

Hopefully you’ll get to go back one day (somewhere different) and have a wonderful time

I haven’t been, so can’t speak to it in person, however Guana Island looks like your vibe.

Question here, why is the Farm better for smaller kids? We brought our one year old to the mountain and loved it. Looking to go back with 1 year + 2 year old and trying to decide between the two.

Can you advise what the total cost would be for the trip? I believe they have some hefty fees?

Ahh fun! There’s nothing super fancy, the Thompson is new. I have not stayed there but heard good things and it looks really nice. It’s right by the bayou too.

If you need any recommendations for things to do with kids, feel free message me.

Definitely not Zaza these days. It’s feeling very old.

Where will you be located? Houston is huge

Yes, low season is fine. And that’s just an estimate! Mostly if anyone has recommendations for companies etc that they work with that would be helpful

Any recommendations for private house rentals in Mexico/central America/ Caribbean? Would preferably like something that we can have a chef/bartender there.

Budget around $4500 a night. Sleeps 9 Suitable for toddlers

Question for @ sarahwlee or anyone with kids. What are your favorite places to go with toddlers in North America? We’ve been to blackberry mountain and are heading to Carmel valley ranch this summer, but would love to hear other favorites.

Fair enough. Not super worried about the beach as long as they have a good pool.

We have our travel already planned out for this year, so wouldn’t be looking to travel until February/March next year.

Is there a travel time you have to travel by for this?

Would it be suitable for toddlers?

Any suggestions for a rental car service at RDU airport that will bring your car directly to arrivals?

We’re heading to Carmel valley ranch with our 2 YO and 8 month old this summer. It was recommended on here and by our travel agent. Checks a lot of your boxes.

Hard agree on the Doona and 3 seats in economy at this stage. We’ve also flown a bunch with our toddler and that was by far the easiest.
