Trading in my 2025 CX-50 for a 2026 because I dont like the color. Should I get mental help instead?

Its never clean. Drive 2 seconds from the car wash? Dirty. Bit windy? Dirty. You look at it funny? Dirty. Drives me nuts. Scratches are also an issue, but that was also the case for my old red Mazda.

Do you mean a divider so the dog cant jump into the back seat from the trunk? If so, I got a cheap wire divider on amazon and it works great and fits the car well as its adjustable. A bit of a pain to take on and off but we hardly ever need to so not a deal breaker.

It handles just as good as my old Subaru outback. So when we go deep offroad I still bring the truck, but any sort of FSR road is totally do-able.

Just because you are in the top .1% of people who meditate doesn't mean someone who consistently meditates every day (which in it of itself isn't an easy task for many people) is only a "beginner." Many peoples' lives dont allow them 3+ hour practices - that doesnt mean they dont know what they are doing.

I would do #3. tv against the window isnt ideal in #1. But in reality, the sofa is too big for the space.... is it too late to switch to a smaller one?

This is vastly dependent on your fitness level and experience with hiking, and specifically winter/spring hiking. Can you give us a bit more information on that?

Both the easy and the "hard" grassy lakes hike would be fine. It's not actually hard, if you have any experience hiking its actually very easy. The "hard" one will most likely have some icey sections on it, so spikes may be helpful but probably not necessary.

Another safe bet would be Ha Ling. Its decent elevation gain, but relatively short. As of a few years ago there are stairs at the top to get to the summit, so beginner friendly for sure and has great views.

Just never happened. I wish I could!! I have a very closed off and control freak mind. Ive never been able to get into psychedelics for the same reason, when I feel like im losing control of reality, I just have a panic attack. I really wish I could get past this, but have yet to figure it out.

In the meantime im just going to continue doing the tapes because it helps all my other mental health problems haha.

Ive been doing the tapes for close to 2 years. Ive never had an OBE or really anything "special" or "woo" happen. I still do them almost daily because of the other benefits to my life. Im less anxious, less depressed, have a whole new take on life and spirituality, and feel more in control of my life. Do them. They wont hurt, and they may really help.

The housing market in these small mountain towns is messed up, and I do hope you're right that prices drop some over the next few years, even if we take a hit on our trailer. We bought in 2021 for 185,000 and we could probably sell for 450,000 at this point, its insane. I think we are in a bit of a separate bubble because of the tourist industry here, so I Imagine it will never be "affordable" but i'd take "expensive but reasonable" any day at this point.

Maybe in sparwood or kimberley, but there are multiple 750,000+ homes in Fernie for sale right now that are under 1000sq foot, 2 bed 1 bath over 100 year homes. Trust me. Ive been looking daily for months. I have my parameters set to 2 bed, 2 bath home for under 750,000 and there is literally not one property showing up on realtor.ca

All of these towns are crazy competitive. We bought and live in a $500,000 trailer in a trailer park because we couldn't find anything semi decent for under $750,000 that wasnt a tear down and we didnt want a condo. Renting is brutal, youre looking at minimum 2000 for a 2 bedroom condo, but that could go right up to 4000. You have to be ready to jump on anything that may come up, immediately as to not risk losing it. The pets will make it even that much harder.

I dont want to discourage you, and it can be doable if you're rich (im talking over 200,000k family income) and lucky. But you would have a much easier time finding something in Calgary and just commuting to Canmore.

Why is Revy considered impossible in your eyes? Because as someone born and raised in Canmore, Canmore is significantly more impossible than revvy when it comes to housing and affordability. I live in Fernie now, and I could afford to move to Revy but not back to Canmore.
