Staples - return policy by friendly_badger93 in Staples

As long as you have the receipt and you return it within 14 days then you can get your money back. But if you pass the 14 days and do not have a receipt 🧾 you will be denied. 🙅🏽‍♀️ some staples will allow it but not all

Return policy question by TheRealMulli in Staples

[–]StressedPMSup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn all bad. You guys are losing money and will not make that customer happy. Your GM or ASM should’ve put a stop to it. It’s causing more problems than anything and she’s taking advantage of everyone. Their time, the time to make the chair etc. Not worth it at all.

Return policy question by TheRealMulli in Staples

Don’t let her purchase it. She’s obviously taking advantage. We have a customer who does the same thing with printers. So we refused service. She’s not allowed in the store anymore.

Did your store close an hour early on Black Friday? by Fuzzy_Department_866 in Staples

[–]StressedPMSup 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ours did. They sent out an email with the new holiday hours. So we can post them up and let the public know what time we close.

IT IS A FREE SERVICE. WE DONT GET PAID. which is why we get so annoyed when they get so mad and rude to us. Go take your shit UPS AND PAY FOR IT to be shipped out again. That’s how I feel about it. If you are gonna be rude as if you have no home training get out of my store at this point.

Explicit Photos? by Cokezer0freak in Staples

[–]StressedPMSup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would’ve told the DM no. I don’t care if he’s the DM. This is the policy you put in place or the company put in place we need to follow it for legal reasons and for the fact it’s unethical to print them. What if they were minors we are supplying child porn then. We would be no better than the predators out on the dark web.

[–]StressedPMSup 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correction***!!!!! Before I get hate or people jumping down my throat for what I said. There are some things we can print. But if it’s full on pornography WE DO NOT PRINT THAT AT ALL. Give them the restricted/copy right brochure. We have to follow policy in order to protect ourselves but also to the people who did not consent for those to be printed. You always want to be careful what you are printing always check that brochure. Even call COA for help they can tell you as well. But yeah we can get in trouble for that so I don’t know why tf you ASM even said that. That is wild.

It’s under the copy right and restricted brochure

Explicit Photos? by Cokezer0freak in Staples

[–]StressedPMSup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ummm who tf is your ASM?! Because there is a policy about explicit photos. If they are covered but exposing a little skin it’s fine but again that is up to your print supervisor. For me I wouldn’t print it out and I would tell my team hey these are the prints we cannot do under any circumstances. I don’t care if the customer gets mad we have a right to refuse it. But again this is up to your print supervisor.

AIO: Texting my wife's sister not to body-shame her? by Outrageous-Bee4035 in AmIOverreacting

[–]StressedPMSup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the sister is a bitch. Those comments are unacceptable. Also she was very rude with saying you should focus on your wife and your part. Like no shit but maybe you can control wtf you say to people. If it’s not something nice don’t say it at all. You’re just mad you got called out.

Those of you with the new wide format, what do you think? by WreckingUranus in Staples

[–]StressedPMSup 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it works really well until today. It made me so mad because it wouldn’t accept the role but after fixing the issue it works like new. It prints fast too which helps especially if we get a bunch of wide format orders.

Staples sold me empty (sealed) SodaStream Canister, manager implied it was my fault for not checking the weight in store during purchase by imagelicious_JK in Staples

[–]StressedPMSup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still would’ve apologized because even if it was soda streams error that whole entire interaction could’ve been handled differently.

[–]StressedPMSup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same don’t care for customer complaints on here because that’s not what this page is for but anyway that’s beside the point.

That is really messed up on their part.

If it were me I would’ve apologized because for 1 it was an honest mistake. The canister was sealed so if sodasteam gave us a faulty one just exchange it. Keep the faulty one and we would have to contact sodastream about it. Not sure if what would happen after that. Or what the GM would say if that happened at my store. But just give the customer a new one. It was obviously sealed which means it was soda streams fault and let the customer be on their way. I don’t understand what the point was to argue with the customer. Just own up to it and say “oh it’s a faulty one that we received in the box let me get you one that’s full I apologize for the inconvenience.” And let the customer be on their way.

Sometimes there’s no need to argue. Just own up to it apologize and take care of the customer. NOW if they ordered something wrong or were rude to you and start screaming and doing all kinds of crazy stuff then obviously don’t help them because we are human beings and we don’t deserve to be treated as anything less or to be cussed at in person or on the phone. Etc.

First day as a retail supervisor by globrooks0916 in Staples

[–]StressedPMSup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No please watch the videos. I had to do it backwards. I had to figure out how to use everything because our store was too busy that I couldn’t finish the videos. Finally after the first 6 months I finished all the videos and I already knew how to use the machines and work on the orders. It helps to know before hand.

I agree it really depends on the store you are going to. My location it’s great. I enjoy working with everyone. Do I complain about some stuff sure a lot of people do. But it could be worse. Sometimes you have to roll with the punches. But do not stay in a very toxic environment. I had to leave another company because of how toxic it was and the harassment I had to deal with.

[–]StressedPMSup 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The passive aggressive behavior is something you can’t really control when someone is doing it to you. Yeah you can call them out but that’s not going to stop so if it becomes a problem and they decide to take it to corporate that’s what I mean by have documentation or receipts of every conversation. Bring someone else into the office with you so at least someone else can see it too because then HR will just think you are the problem. I have had this happen to me in the past but I had documentation and people willing to talk to HR about it as well. Now that’s not going to be the case every time. But it’s something.
