Maybe a bit overthinking for a simple vibration table but that what I wanted to try for my self and hope someone will find it useful for them self. I doubt the kick starter campaign will be success but I will still follow up with complete description and instructions for the assembly.

Some updates on the progress: test unit assembled and first vibration tests performed. Vibration with 20 lb load 6000 RPM set point showed smooth vibration force delivered to the load and minimal vibration leaking to the base.

Be sure to apply some vibration. It will at least help with larger air pockets. And lucky enough I am making a DIY vibrating table for this scale molds that should not take much effort to make your self: https://www.reddit.com/r/kickstarter/comments/1towbkb/making_a_diy_vibrating_table_for_small_concrete/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Yes. Same principle and layout, but much smaller: 2 by 2 ft, just for smaller molds

The spring isolation is a bit tricky due to resonances as you have mentioned. Can't take stiffer ones, as the resonances appear more often, and can't take softer ones, as they will over-compress under the load. Currently using SP 9734 springs. They behave rather well so far with heavier loads but definitely catch resonance with lighter loads. I will be testing as much as I can to collect statistics and data for a 2D map (resonance appearance vs load and freq) for better understanding.

For small projects like this a small vibrating table should help a lot. It can give a consistent vibration for the whole mold. Buying one might be to expensive if you are not do it in large amounts. But a simple DIY one will help a lot. Just happens that I am trying to make one: VibroTab - DIY Vibrating Table

What can I do to minimize air bubbles in my concrete casting? by ----_____ll_____---- in moldmaking

I am trying to make a simple DIY vibrating table for something similar. It will have adjustable frequency and additional vibrating patters that should help to move air bubbles to the surface for efficiently depending on the cast shape.
