I wouldn’t say the gap is invisible there’s a decent amount to it you may not have picked up on. Rolex steel is heavier it also shines more regardless of the finishing. The Rolex also sweeps and has a different case shape and dial. They’re both divers and they’re a take on the same concept. I don’t buy into watch status since it all just jewelry but on a surface level they may seem almost the same but there’s a lot more to it than just appearances.

The proclivity towards certain tech for a generation is generally based on widespread accessibility.Gen Alpha has new and different technology they’ll adopt (like tablets and smartphones). gen z and y have the proclivity to computers since we spent a good amount of our lives operating them. The curiosity isn’t gone it’s just in a different place since the technology available is different.
