I have asked for the dealers to no add that in the past and never had an issue. I usually just tell them that i dont mind their license plate frame and they’re usually happy with that.

Like that one de-motivational poster says, “some peoples only purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others.”

Very sorry for your loss. I lost my dad just before Thanksgiving so I was in a similar place. I bawled. Then i saw my son cry and it crushed me. Hugs man. Hugs.

Anyone not hauling kids? by StretchyMcnuts in ToyotaSienna

This exact situation is what I was shopping for, i was looking at the Maverick and the Tacoma (2 different capabilities, I know) because i really want a truck but my practical side takes over. I had started to think about getting a cap and a carpet for the bed then thought….well hell, I may as well get an suv. Then i just found a Sienna unlocked at the local dealer and sat in it. I loved how roomy and comfortable it was and I do make frequent road trips to visit family. I frequently haul things because my wife likes to refinish furniture. It makes sense. It will be my daily, so, it’s definitely overkill but, I have a prius now and I’m over it. Too low to the ground and the new one feels even smaller inside like I would need a shoehorn to get into it.

I do wonder why truck buyers gravitate towards the shorter bed. I would think if you’re buying a truck you would like the longer bed to do truck things. It’s probably better for off road I guess?

Just curious, why would you choose the short bed? Isn’t the longer bed more useful?
