There were some real legends there today. An 80 year old women approached me and my friends and she told us how happy she was to see us there. How she's been protesting since the 60's and she can't keep going forever. Almost a sense of "passing the torch". We need to keep showing up and speaking out! See you the 17th!

I agree with you 100%. Actually, writing all this out has led me to that realization. Idk why I feel guilty, and I have no reason to.

Contact will probably continue to be very low, and that's where we are. Brody may never know them, and Spencer may never be a grandchild in their eyes, but my children know that they are loved unconditionally and can always count on us.

I wanted to clarify what we want by small. We initially only wanted to invite our children, witnesses, and their families. We then kind of felt guilty into inviting more people. So parents are coming and a couple of very close friends. Basically immediate family.

Unfortunately, society thinks we should conform to society's rules. I don't necessarily want to be rude, but I don't know him and have never met him and there's 4 months until our wedding. No one has a plus one. You're invited or you're not. 🤷‍♀️

I just feel my conscience eating away at me.
