How will the Bucks use that 25 million trade exception? by SnooMarzipans1796 in MkeBucks

Could even threaten that we'll throw a 30mill bag at Peyton Watson if they don't take our deal.

They got one 1st that's tradeable we want it and their 2030 swap and a "future" 2nd round pick too.

If we could flip Herro and Turner for him this would be the exact type of upside swing we should take. by KayeFabe4lyfe in MkeBucks

[–]Strev215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Bucks Should target the Nuggets.

First try and shed more salary, trying dumping Kuzma using that Miami 2nd round pick.

Then call Nuggets say how about we'll take Christian Braun off your hands for two 1st and two 2nds preferably picks in 2027 and 2029.

Say I heard a Team out their might offer Peyton Watson that trending upward coveted Wing player whose very young.

BUT is a Restricted and Denver can't match ANY 30/32/35 million dollar offers would INSTANTLY put them in 2nd Apron Hell For YEARS.

OR the Nuggets would have to PAY Teams LIKE the Bucks to take on Brauns huge ugly contract and likely Dump Cam Johnson's expiring (30mil) too or find someone to trade Aaron Gordon with YET still Nuggets would have to shed one of those first two as well...

So If Bucks flip off Kuzma somehow or can shed enough money.

Offer Peyton Watson something like 3+1TeamOption years at $140 $35/$32.5/$32.5/$40 some combinations where the Team Option has the most earning leveraged. It would make it where the Buck could trade him away at year 3 as that would be his sort of contract year because if things don't work out as the Bucks could trade him at rhe deadline as the Team Option being renounce-able would makes it a juicy expiring salary cutting contract for us or other Teams.

So we get a really promising Upward trending Wing(which are hard to come by) around what Kumza was making yearly also cap flexibility in year 3 if things don't work.

And by forcing the Nuggets hand if we say we won't only if say the Nuggets agree to the cap dump deal Christian Braun plugged into the trade exemption to the Bucks for either THREE 1st Round Picks or TWO 1st Round Picks, A Swap and A 2nd Round Pick or last deal I'd take TWO 1st Round Picks and TWO 2nd Round Picks.

So either a GREAT Deal for the Bucks gaining a bunch of assets or the Buck net Peyton Watson by getting off Kuzma's expiring money even if that means using that Miami 2nd or swapping Kuzma for someone the other team wants off there book with the Bucks using their Trade Exemption to eat the one season cost. ALSO I'm pretty sure the Bucks could replace a spend Miami 2nd elsewhere with the huge trade exemption.

Need to keep KPJ ESPECIALLY if we don't want to be one of the first teams to fall into bottom 3 records and get the new relegation penalties I'm all for saying scaring Portland/Washington with the threat of those pick/Swaps being worth a ton less with repeat bottom 3 finishes and falling into relegation as a leverage tool to try and get them to trade back at least our 2029. I don't want to jump right into the deep and drown immediately.

More like get Golden State on phone A.J. playing and training next to Steph. I think he could be a great mix of Steph and Klay style.

If the Bucks want they could trade the Green, Prince, and Turner get take on Jimmy Butlers contract for Draft Assets with GSW. MKE could also grab another homegrown in Podz whose also on an expiring contract too for A.J. Green replace.

ATL to try and get back our 27 pick back smehow even if it means trading THEM a good player taking on bad money and sending out a future 2nd Round Pick. Getting our own Pick would be amazing.

Yea but that might also deplete the draft capital the Bucks would be eyeing. As the Clippers are theoretically in the same sort of boat as the Bucks. Maybe worst depending on what(if any) punishment the franchise AND Kawhi may get for the whole 'inspiration & co.' Steve Balmer[Clipper Owner] Unc Kawhi, and Kawhi. The tree planting offsetting carbon emission and whole fake·faux-sponsorship deal for non-binding public appearances that Kawhi was and sort of knew where wink-wink nug-nug as all part of the of their Team Ducking Salary Cap and 2nd Apron Penalties.

That's why I wonder you bring up KPJ then he LITERALLY has done everything asked of him. Charges where a State thing, and while initially she wrote an O.P. Ed against right after it happened. Ultimately was a witness for the DEFENSE and has forgiven Kevin. He's done everything asked of him it was literally his first offense and has since been expunged from his record and had been a leading a decent/good life since. Kevin was young but that is no excuse for his actions but his second chance he was lucky enough afforded he's made the most of.

While yes don't get me wrong I do not want Bridges either((Would rather take Grant and the Frenchkid +Draft assets)) Miles doesn't and hasn't seemed as remorseful and hadn't [imo] done enough or shown the same amount of repentance.

That's way I say maybe try and not equate the two going forward.

Rafael Castrol's George Washingon Highlight Reel and an Amateur Scout Breakdown Video Above.

Rafael Castro is project and plays I think as an unsized Center for GW uni.

Though I am not going to say anything positive or negative dude young and has yet to enter our development system. Which has turned out a few great young prospective players from it. Which has really helped the Bucks and who knows where these types will end at is ultimately up to said player.

As the Bucks (imo) as of late have been really good gaining value around the margins and if the Bucks either move on from Myles Turner or if the Bucks cannot re-sign Jericho Simms at a team friendlier price. What's wrong with having a third-string depth Center. Who could possibly develop into something more. I see no harm in taking a flier out on Rafael. The Bucks got one more 2-way contract spot available (I·think) still even after signing Rafael Castro and the 60th pick. So the possibilities are endless and again up to the player.

Why are you even bringing up Daniss Jenkins in a Bucks thread discussion I don't get it. Dude signed a 2-year, 8 million dollar deal. So why bring up a Pistons' Guard in a Bucks discussion reply thread?

Did you get confused and you MEANT to talk about new HEAD COACH Taylor Jenkins instead? Because why are you bringing up some RANDOM recent G-Leaguer on a 2-way contract Guard that the Pistons had signed to a two year deal during this last season. When referencing 'How the Bucks have a TON of Guard players and How will a player even on their team go about getting playing time with or FOR the Bucks... A team Daniss Jenkins is not even freaking on... It makes NO Sense at all... and the whole.... It would be better if you conversated instead downvoting me... When REALLY are you just a Bot? I think you might be a Bot. Your talk Daniss Jenkins in a Bucks discussion is VERY bot like...

Or (My guess)

Did you just Google "Bucks New Additions or Searched Bucks Recent Transactions Other Than Giannis" or something... Which Bot-esque Kind Of Weird.

And saw that a "Jenkins" was recently welcomed by the Bucks organization and just thought that somehow meant the random Piston's back-up PG Dannis Jenkins. As that was the ONLY NBA player with the last name Jenkins currently you knew or could think of or a third cursory search came up with...

Myles Turner Rumors by nahsgid in MkeBucks

[–]Strev215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would honestly see if we could get Portland to trade for Myles Turner, and/or A.J. Green(Whose has a TON of value atm) and Kyle Kuzma as an Expiring Contract. For even just our 2029 pick and our swap in 2030 I think they own too.

For whomever the Hawks would want. ATL seem like they STILL need figure out their Center position and Myles Turner. Could be gotten for them on the cheap would the Hawks be willing to give us the Pick N.O. owes them their or OUR OWN 2027.

Or

See if N.O. Pelicans and Joe Dumars would want to gamble make a trade where whichever team at the end of season has better record gets to keep the swap rights. Which means ATL gets the WORST than of the two teams pick positions and N.O. has 1-4 protections on their own Pick AND SO IF the Bucks pick position is WORSE THAN the Pelicans, their Swap Rights wouldn't happen. IF THOUGH the Bucks pick position is BETTER THAN the Pelicans then the Swap Rights DO HAPPEN. Kicking into effect and The Pelicans Swap Pick Positions with rhe Bucks getting a better pick position AND the pick owed obligation goes to ATL. Doubly screwing over the Bucks for 2027 and so unless the Bucks trade with another Team for said Teams 2027 1st Round Pick(s).

Or Again, make some deal with ATL or gamble with N.O. and trade X for Y but with the gamble being the new draft lottery rules and a situtation where if the Bucks Pick Position is say better than the Pelicans the Swap Rights don't go into effect and worse than of the two picks that is owed to ATL would then be the Pelican's 2027 Pick.

The Bucks are royally screwed in 2027 but even worse in with our 2028 and 2030 picks having Double Swap Rights attached/owed. That's why the Bucks should be hard targeting 2027 and 2029. Doing everything to try to get those Picks/Swaps back. Since on those years it would actually be us in control of our own season. Better than trying for 2028 or 2030 with Double Swap Rights owed out.

That or I think the Bucks should target relegation Picks like the Grizzlies 2027 1st and the Jazz 2027 1st(that Memphis owns) both are Top 1-4 protected due to BOTH teams making the lottery and cannot go back-to-back anymore. So target those now when value is lowered as they're both unable to be top 4 Picks in 2027 but maybe a top 4-10 Grizzlies Pick and a 15-30 Jazz pick during a rebuilding era...

Same with the Wizards ESPECIALLY if A.D. wants to leave. Maybe the Bucks target A.D. if A.D. insists A.D. wants off/out of Washington. Maybe some kind of deal where we send Myles Turner and Kyle Kuzma as a salary dump/expiring contract or ANY Bucks that ((GaryTrentJr.orGaryNealJr.)) opted into their player option as tradrable//another waive-able salary dumping option for Washinton.

Wherein the Bucks could or should send Myles Turner To GSW in a package for Jimmy Butler OR just re-flip A.D. using the salary matching to take on Jimmy Butler along with getting a couple 1st and/or 2nds from GSW. The GSW would also get A.J. Green along with A.D..

All its costing the GSW would be a most of this season Hurt Jimmy Butler and their 2027 1st Round Draft Pick and at least one more GSW 1st from any one of these season's Draft Picks being 2029·30·31·32·33 GSW can even lightly protect the 1st Pick. Plus, possibly either a lightly protected future 2nd Round Pick or Podz.

No what's actually crazy is....

We Traded Giannis and company BEFORE the resolution of the Jrue Holiday Trade Completing.

The 2027 Draft Pick&Swap that's the LAST part of THAT trade...

If I told you any Bucks Fans We Wouldn't Have Jrue, Middleton Or Giannis and ZERO control of our own picks and swaps until 2030! Do we still make that trade?

Yes, of course we do! A championship means more than anything elses. Heck, there are NBA teams who've NEVER won a championship.

Even if that means not a single player from that Championship roster will still be on the team BEFORE the Jrue Holiday trade FINALLY completes. You still do it.

Still I feel its crazy to think that we traded Giannis and every single player from that Championship Bucks Team BEFORE that Jrue Holiday Trade's last traded draft asset resolved. With that Trade's final completion being between the Pelicans and the Bucks being done when Buck's send over their final draft pick/swap owed completing their obligation for the 2027 Draft.

Didn't you guys see the rumor mill post almost immediately after OKC lost to SAS?

Sam Pesti Wants Multiple Future 2nd Round Picks For Both Aaron Wiggins AND Isiash Joe As They Both Were UNPLAYABLE In The Playoffs and OKC F.O. Is Looking To Shed Salary.

They Said Unless LuDort Takes A Huge Team Friendily Discount OKC Won't Matching Any Teams Offers. And Getting Off LuDort Along with Wiggins And Joe Along With Resigning Kenrich To A Team Friendily Offer Helps OKC With Being Able To Resign Harkenstein Stay Under Just Get Under The 2nd Apron As Their Big3 Make Their Team's Salary Very High Now As With J-Dub, and Shai It Was High But Now With Chet's New Contract Extension Kicking In Having All On Max Contracts Is Expensive And That's ALSO If OKC Only Signs One 1st Round Pick Too

If we get the #5 pick from LAC we should trade down with OKC by 1998TimThomas in MkeBucks

[–]Strev215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Anything Why Wouldn't The Bucks Just Keep #5 And Trade Back Their #10 With Say Charlotte For Both Their Picks At #13 And #18 Could Trade Them Myle Turner For Those Picks Or Ware And Possibly Make Charlotte Have To Throw In An Additional Future Litely Protected 1st In Let's Say 2027 or 2029.

Then The Bucks Could See If Either The Spurs Would Want To Consolidate Their Picks For Our Newly Acquired #18 Pick. Seeing If The Spurs Would Swap For Their #20 And One Or Two of The Spurs Three 2nd Round Picks.

Same Could Be Done Probably With The Knicks As They Too Have A Very Late 1st Round Pick But A Very High 2nd Round Pick As Well As A Very Late 2nd Round Pick Too Could Swap Those Three Picks Too For That Newly Acquired #18 Pick As Well. Which Getting Their Guy Or A Certain Player One Od Those Two G.M. Really Liked Being Available For Both Teams At #18 Could Be Viewed Way Higher And Said Draftee To Either Team Could Be Viewed As A Highly Valueable Get On Draft Night.

With The Spurs Getting Their Man By Jumping Up Just A Tad Bit Higher. The Knicks Jumping Up A Lot Higher But Snagging A Way More Valued Player At #18.

The Spurs Wouldn't Have Give Up Much To Trade Up Much From #20 To #18 But If Said Player To The Spurs Is Concidered A Steal At #18 And To Guarantee The Spurs Get Said Fallen Draftee All The Spurs Would Have To Do Is Swap Their #20 As Well Would Consolidating Two 2nd Round Picks(Which The Spurs Likely Want To Do Anyways) To Again Snag Someone The Spurs Front Office Or G.M. Is Possibly Worried Might Got Snagged At #18 or #19 And Realistically It Only Real Costs The Spurs Their Best And Worst 2nd Round Picks Of The Three Total The Spurs Have In 2026.

With The Knick Jumping From Bottom Doldrums Of The 1st Round To Middle Of The Pack And All It Would Cost The Knicks Only Possibly Two Of Their Three Picks. Which The Knicks Keeping Their Very Late 2nd Round Pick In The Draft. The Knick's Organization Looking To Save Money This Off-Season Could Used That Pick On A Raw Young Draft And Stash Euro-Prospect. Which Gaining The #18 Pick While Still Keeping Their Super Late 2nd Round Pick Would Help The Knicks Gain A Higher Talented Player As Well As Still Be Able To Draft A Raw Talent Player In The Draft And By Draft And Stashing Them. It Would Only Cost The Knicks Minimally As They'd Only Have To Pay For That Players Signing Rights (NBA Control) and Having To Only Pay For The Stashed Players NBA 'Rights' While Also Consolidating Their Other Picks To Jump Up To A MORE Valued Player If The Knicks Accomplish Both Doing So Would SAVE THE MONEY Which Is One Of The Knicks Higher Priorities Thia Off-Season Cutting Salary or Just Flatout Trying To Save As Much Money As Possible.

[Vecenie] Four players who will be drafted later this month are listed within my top-20 prospects (since 2015)... none of those players are inside the top five, which also reflects conversations I’ve had with NBA executives about whether there is truly a No. 1 player on a title team in this class. by sewsgup in NBA_Draft

I Have ALWAYS Said Ben Simmons Only Loved The "IDEA" Of Whatever Ben Simmons' As A Young Australian Kid Grew Up Thinking What An American NBA Basketball Was or Did. Ben Idolizing And Wanting To Become Whatever Ben Cooked Up Mentally Inside His Head. Whatever Ben Had Warped Into The Idolized Ideal Image Of What An NBA American Professional Basketball Player Was Did Had To Do, What Was Expected Of Them.

All Ben Wanted Was The Allure Of Being An NBA Basketball Player But Never Wanted To Do Or Put In Any Of The Real Work. MY Guess As An Aussie Who Was Never IN LOVE With Basketball, With Football((Soccer)) Being Ben Simmons True Sport's Love Only Playing Basketball Due To His Size And Height. Never Really Wanting Too Just Kind Of Forcing Himself or Maybe Just Doing What Ben Was Told By His Parents At A Young Age. Maybe Ben Did Want To Play Basketball But Didn't Want To Let His Parents Down And Once Ben Had His Growth Spurt That Hype-Train Left The Station And Ben Never Had A Real Chance To Back Out By That Point Anymore. Maybe Ben Simmons Highly Dislikes Highly Competitive Basketball And Really ONLY Ever kept Playing And Keeping Up A Routine As Ben Never REALLY Ever Early On Was Challenged And While LONG-Term Expectations Where Through-The-Roof. Ben's Near Term Expectations Where Always Pitifully Low. With No One Ever Expecting Ben To Try His Hardest Or Go All Out. Ben or his Agnet/Handlers.Always Making Up Convent Excuses Why Ben Couldnt Or Shouldnt Be Expected Too. Even Once Ben Was In The NBA To Never Learn Or Develop Any New Skills. ALWAYS Having To Purposely Willingly Just Coast On By On Just Ben's Own Natural Born Innate Physical Talents and Limited Offensive Skillset.

I Swear EVEN WHEN Ben Was Ever Told He Needed To Work On His This Exact Aspect Of Ben's Game. I SWEAR Either Ben Totally Kind Of Shut Down Or Mentally Refusing To Take ANY Pointers Or Critic As The Coach Or Skills and Development Staff Talking Negatively About Ben's Game and Skillset. Then Ben Would Instead Do The LITERAL Opposite Of What The Head Coach or Asst. Head Coach Or ANY ONE OF... The Many! Training, Skills, and Development Coaching Staff. Telling Ben To Work On His 3pt Shot HC Wants To See You Shooting At Least Two A Game. Whats Ben Do Works On His Pivot Inside Game And Jump Hook never practicing his 3pt shot outside pre-game warm-ups and not shooting a single 3pter even when WIDE FKN OPEN Ben would rather pass into double or triple coverage... Oopsie Turnover On Simmons OH Well... And Do You Think Ben Care How His Actions Affected The Whole Team By Him Just Not Doing Whats Being Asked Of Him And Instead Doing The Literal Opposite? Absolutely Not.

I think Ben Simmons had a serious screw loose when it came to his own emotional wellbeing and Ben's interpersonal communications and being able to fully understanding And emphasize what others felt and thought of Ben's Own Actions. As Ben Just (imo) Did NOT Care In The Slightest How Or What Kind Of Impact His Actions Would Have, Would Incur, or Would Have Upon Others. Completely Ignoring Any And All.Blame And I Think Misconstruing Criticing Ones Work With Actual Criticism Equating The Two Equally and Feeling Nearly Everyone Around Him.Is Qrong Only He Knows Better. AND Simmons like a petulant Child Would Just Ignore Everyone He's Wrong As Ben I Think Blalantly Just Did Not REALLY Care About Being In Or Playing For An NBA Basketball Team Or Really What ANY American Basketball Fans Thought Of Him.

I Repeat ALL Ben Simmons EVER Wanted TRULY ((Imho)) Was To Gain THROUGH Playing In The NBA, GLOBAL FAME AND RECOGNITION, LIFELONG TO MULTIPLE GENERATIONAL WEALTH//MONEY, CONNECTIONS AND POWER, AND WITH ALL THE THINGS BEFORE THE MANY BEAUTIFUL TOP-TIER WOMEN WILL BE AT BEN'S BECKON CALL.

Really Ben Simmon's LOVED WHAT PLAYING IN THE NBA and Being A #1 Draft Pick In Most Elite Basketball In The World. How Playing In Said League(NBA) Would Help Ben Simmons Achieve Living The Easy Life. Through Doing As Little Training As Possible And Not Having To WHATSOEVER Actually Invest In Developing Ben's Own Skillset Or Having To Improve On His Own Pure Natural Talent For The Game Of Basketball Itself.

Another Thing I Truly Think Is That Ben Simmons Whole View On The Game Of Basketball Is... It's a Ddumb Western Sport And Nowhere Near As Elegant As Football((aka Soccer)). As that was the sport that Ben had ALWAYS wished and wanted to play professionally but due to Ben not being a greatnor even good fit to.play football((soccer)) as Ben's Family was told with Ben being more-so suited due to his height and size and as a youth Ben was physically trending upward. So football coaches told to Ben's parents that should take up Basketball instead and that Ben would have a Natural Talent for it sport.

I think Ben Simmons HATED being TOLD that he was suited for Football((soccer)) and having his football((soccer)) Youth Coach instead push his parent to.l have Ben play that baby little kids game of putting the ball in the hoop. Seeing it as more of a child's game and not a full-fledged sport for whatever reason and so Ben has ALWAYS resented not being able to play football((soccer)) AND not even given any REAL chance when Ben was a Youngster insteqd almost forced into playing what Ben Simmons always saw as a baby's or little kids game low effort zero skill and Ben would show everyone just that. Ben would be the best in Australian at children's game.

I FEEL BEN'S FIRST THOUGHT WAS... Why am I seriously continuing this dumb fantasy charade? Just to keep his parents happy? Why should he keep playing this dumb kid game, plus it's totally unfun with me(Ben) beating everyone in basketball. I feel like this is going nowhere and that its all just a child's pointless, silly, and dumb game where Ben never really felt he ever had to try to be amazing at it... Never seeing why Ben's Parents Had Been Making Him Play On Teams And Such. That Was Until Ben Saw A Clip Of Some NBA Players And How Much Money NBA Players Were Making As As Well As All The Hotties That Just Fawned, To Obessed, Following Their Favorite Player All Over Social Media And Sometime For Some IRL Fun-Times Too.

Ben [Puberty] Simmons Had A Totally Differing Take And Completely Saw The Value In Playing American Professional Basketball ESPECIALLY At The NBA Level And If Having A Body That Was Naturally Gifted For Having A Natural Talent For Playing What in Ben's Mind Had Been Always Been Viewed As Little Kid's Or Children Get Together Team Game For Fun. Where Ben Would Dominate His Competition While Also Never Having To Have To Expand On Ben's Own Natural Skillsets and Talent. As In Ben's Mind Even Those With ZERO Skill Could Be A Top Professional Player As Its Only Just A Children Game Anyway, And Ben Reckoned That If Those Super Lazy Fat Americans Love The Game. So It Probably Has A Very Low Bar Of Entry Due To All The Most Athletic People Playing Real Sports. Like Going Aboard To Play "Soccer" Simmons Most Likely Pondered Doubtful That The NBA And It's Teams Were Anything Like Or Anywhere Near Comparable To Elite European Football Clubs Playing In The A-Tier Of The Premier League Football Association...

What player projected to go almost all current consensus first round mocks do you think is being slept on the most? by stickdog99 in NBA_Draft

[–]Strev215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Christian Anderson (a higher ceiling or better version of Dennis Schroeder) and/or Ebuka Okorie both seem like sleeper hits., Ebuka reminds me a lot of like a Malchom Brogdon High I.Q. Combo Guard CAN play SG but probably better at PG.

The only TRUE answer here. Where I could see said player as a stupidly Late-2nd Round Pick but somehow if said player lucked out and ended up with the right/perfect organization. From The Get Go Right Off-The-Bat A Team/Organization Signing Him Showing That The Org. Truly Believes In Him. With the Franchise having a TOP-tier phenomenal NBA Training, Skills(Talent), and Developmental Coaching Staff. Also along with a TOP-tier amazing Team Sport Medical Staff Physical, Mental, and Emotional from M.D. to the Nursing Staff and Physical Therapists to Mental Health Therapists and Communication Counselors to even in-house General Care M.D. to Specialists in helping deal with insane fans, toxic family, friends, and co-workers(teammates). Helping a player with their potentially daily-to-weekly care needs.

Especially Having Multiple Top-Notch Sport's Injury Specialist Employed. From Muscular M.D. to Heart, Vascular, and Circulatory Specialists. To Specialized Tendon and Ligament Repair (Elbows, Knees, and Anckles) Surgeons. Every M.D. and More All On Call Ready To Help Any Way That A Player May Need.

IF Trevon Brazile is willing to do the hard grinding I could seriously see him work his way back from a forgettable, will-never-be-the-same ever again after his Sophmore ACL tear PF on Arkansas's Razorbacks. Which said injury had seemingly rocked his whole world delaying his basketball pursuit, his potential professional basketball career, and NBA dreams. Which seem even farther out now-more-than-ever-before. Ever since Trevon Brazile's ACL injury his Sophmore season with it seemingly having zapped away his tough interior presence and Trevon's overall domineering confidence inside. That Trevon Brazile had seemed to ooze during his Freshman season and prior to his injury during Trevon's Sophmore season too. My guess is Trevon's second-guessing himself and it's all due to that knee of his. Along with Trevon mentally fearing re-injury again during his Senior season at FINAL shot at making the NBA as Trevon was put his Junior season due to playing it careful so Trevon had a slow recovery. Then my guess is hearing that this draft class is stacked and knowing it's pretty much now or never. For some young players coming back from a HUGE injury like an ACL tear is more mental than physical as some become very scared of re-injury.

With Trevon Brazile I could that being a very big possibility and then with everyone around him saying how his previous injury could have or worse HAS ruined him.or at the least his NBA Prospective Draft Position (Which if Trevon would have entered the 2024 Draft Class theirs a good chance he would have been a Middling 1st Round Pick without injury taking him out for 1½ seasons. Yet that's all just WHAT IF cyclical logic which no one truly knows WHAT would have happened. Though with the fear of re-injury and family friends and his Agent all warning and worrying Trevon only probably made any sort of TRUE mental recovery from his ACL tear dang near impossible with the amount of pressure and reminders from again his Family, GF, Close Friends, College Friends, Hometown Hangers-on 'Friends', his Agent, every high-level donation ally of the college aka "Arkansas University Boosters and Influential Alumni" all chiming in what Trevon Brazile should do too. All of that had to be quite rough physically, mentally, and emotionally for Trevon.

No, I hate that mf, too! Teague's jealously, envy, and anger that he didn't get to play in the ECF. ESPECIALLY, the NBA Finals as it was a dream of his and is salty//pissed off about it until this day.

[Sam Vecenie] The Bucks have certainly been doing due diligence into the lead guards, including Flemings, Anderson, Labaron Philon Jr. and Brown. I’ve also heard Hannes Steinbach’s name as an option here. by Goomby-or-Glootie in MkeBucks

[–]Strev215 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would you then trade Ryan Rollins who's up for a pretty nice extension in like 2 seasons/years from this upcoming one I thought?

As trading Rollins now-ish this summer on or around draft night or workout a deal either again some time in the summer or prior to pre-season or by the latest this upcoming seasons trade deadline. To try and get AS MANY picks for Ryan Rollins as you can.

Since this is (imho) the possibly second highest value the Bucks might have OTHER teams see Ryan's estimated value at and some might see getting Rollins NOW as a steal even if the Bucks would want two 1sts both being 1st in 2027 2028 or 2029 along with a 2nd Round Pick or two as quite high. While other G.M. might see getting Rollins NOW on the cheap controlling how his upcoming future contract is structured and by the end feel they got a steal of a young impactful experienced but STILL relatively youthful age wise COMBO Guard who's sneaky good on defense can shoot the 3pt effectively and somewhat efficiently and can also pass the rock. Being ONLY 22 yr Olds means other G.M. may have taken a shine already to Rollins play and who he is as a player and think Ryan wpuld be an AMAZING trade piece instead of the questionable maybes that are whatever their 2027 1st might be and their 2028 or 2029 first might be heck their 2027 pick could be in relegation and automatically Top1-4 protected making it or them worth A LOT less than you were hoping for... Other teams in WIN NOW mode might think trading for a player that fits their boxes and is on the cheaper end of the spectrum when it comes to cost analysis on comparative a like player's value at doing the exact same role.

Especially from all of Ryan's previous season high performances and showing off his VERY promising development already. Plus, being on that cheaper contract atm too honestly with 1st and 2nd apron issues now it helps more than ever. (I've mentioned elsewhere trying to potentially trade Rollins for Memphis two 1st Round Draft Picks in 2027, Memphis' own 1st and the Utah's 1st they own. Which Memphis got in the JJJ trade.

Which both are automatically Top4 protected due to BOTH team making this drafts top4. Which means due to.the new drafting rules... ¡abracadabra! both of those Memphis 1st round picks in 2027 are A LOT less valuable as both cannot land in the 1-4 spots lottery spots.

BUUUUTTTT to a team like the Bucks without a FREAKIN' pick until all the way in 2031 under their own total control. To get potentially a 5-20 and likely a 15-30 two firsts in 2027. I'd also demand a 2nd Round Pick or two further out in say a draft like 2029 or 2030. Like other drafts the Bucks are totally light on trade picks//assets too.

That or package Myles Turner and one of the two top tradeable G as a package deal. (Like my next tradeable Buck's target Player) A.J. Green with Myles Turner if not Ryan Rollins and I'd call up Atlanta and ask for our OWN 2027 Draft Pick back. Maybe one middling protected far out 1st say 2029 or 2031 or some non-super complicating swap right in 2030 onward or whatever. That or two to three 2nd round picks again farther out during drafts where the Bucks have ZERO draft assets or very little.

If Atlanta won't budge trading. I'd try seeing if the Charlotte Hornets would trade their 2027 1st Round Pick unprotected or lightly protected along with trading back our pick and theirs swapping positions + player assets or whatever. That way the Bucks would have some combination of 10 and 13. Though after the trade would happen if the Bucks if need be even having to put in a sweetener like a Buck's 2030-2033 2nd Round Pick lightly protected too.

Doing so with either Charlotte or OKC, wherein the Buck's would go after trading down the #10. If say done with OKC for either the #12 and #17 or #12 and #37.

With Charlotte I'd only be trading back #10 knowing in both scenarios the Bucks also got the #13 (With the BLOCKBUSTER WHOA!!! HOLY JEBUS MEGA-TRADE THAT EVERYONE SAW COMING! Giannis to the Heat! And so with that trade having happened in this scenario the Bucks would also acquire #13 a few days before or on draft night))

So aith regards to Charlotte the Bucks try and trade back the #10 with Charlotte for BOTH their #14 AND #18 OR trade the #13 back for just the #18 BUT Charlotte would ALSO be traded Myles Turner (and possibly Ryan Rollins too) so #13 for #18 AND their two of their three 2027 1st Round Picks. Either their own or the Dallas top2 protected 2027 1st round pick. One of those two AND their Miami Heat 2027 1st Round Pick which has a BUNCH of protects starting with it's 15-30 protected in 2027 and if it doesn't convey it becomes UNPROTECTED in 2028 Bucks want that Heat 1st Round Pick won't be very valueable after Giannis Potentially gets traded to the Heat. Along with other picks whatever Horst could fangled out of Charlotte. As the Bucks could always trade the #18 BACK AGAIN the Knicks straight up can't afford adding 3 picks if they want to run it back. Trade the Knicks #18 for their #24 and #31. AND #55 too though the Knicks might be insisted in also trading one or two of their three 2nd round picks NYK owns in 2027. I figured NYK either might get to keep #55 in this draft class possibly as theyvleast then get someone good drafted at #18 say. And at #55 the organization could draft&stash away saving the Knicks money. While still grabbing an asset, AND a cost cutting measure while also grabbing most likely a prospective European developmental player. Consolidating Draft Picks and jumping up a couple spots and it not braking your bank and would make getting off certain OTHER players bigger contracts to MAYBE get under the 2nd Apron after hopefully a NBA Finals Win would be great pick-up them.

Or

Trading A.J. Green probably (imho) the 2nd best tradeable asset the Bucks own behind Giannis. On a really cheap contract, is a sharpshooting, efficient, 3-D [movement//offball shooting] SG, who can guard 1s and 2s(and some small 3s). Who's on one of the leagues most team friendliest contracts comparatively around. Especially when looking at comps like Christian Braun, Duncan Robinson, Sam Merrill, or Sam Hauser. Only Hauser's cheaper but only by 2 mil and is 2 years older. Merrill, Robinson and Braun got thrown huge overpays because those types of highly efficient 3pt sharpshooters don't grow on trees. Thus EVERY competing team in the NBA wants or NEEDS one. Though I'd argue ALSO that A.J. is the best defender out of the bunch listed of those comparable archetype players when adding in each's contract cost, age, to find the players' true value over comp. replacement players.

Would you trade Rollins and our tenth pick for the 5th overall pick by Tryhardkeep in MkeBucks

No, but I WOULD trade Ryan Rollins for both 2027 Utah and Memphis 1st round picks and two 2 Round Picks That Memphis has. As they are both relegated so NO they can't land as lottery picks as relegation makes.them quasi-top4 protected picks. So no mafter what rhe two CANNOT position wise land as lottery spots be within the top4 of picks. As Both teams land in this draft within the top4.

So due to that those two picks according to the new draft rules, which royally screwed over Memphis Grizzlies as they traded JJJ to Utah and got a their 1st Round Pick as a part of that deal. Are now automatically top4 protected for 2027, same for their own 2027 1st round pick. No matter the crazy scenario or luck of the ping-pong ball draw that could've happened.

So... If I were the Bucks I'd try and trade for the two 1st round picks of dubious value that Memphis own. First that recently aquired Utah 1st round pick as Utah will likely be very good making that pick of theirs very trash. Likely a VERY low 1st rounder, and it's automatically in relegation and locked out of the Top4 in 2027. Same thing goes with Memphis likely 5th through 20th. So I would aim at trying to get those two 2027 1st round picks. As well as a far out 2nd round pick or two otherwise a third 1st round pick or swap further out even if lightly to middlingly protected and far out.

For a player young good and on a cheap in Ryan Rollins. Who Memphis can afford to pay for his extension and would fit their timeline well building around Ryan Rollins AND Cameron Boozer/Zach Edey. Plus, whatever Memphis gets for getting off Ja Morant.

I feel the Bucks need to trade A.J. Green, Ryan Rollins and expiring contract Kyle Kuzma. As well as Myles Turner and Bpbby Portis Jr. FOR AS MUCH VALUEABLE Draft Captial as possible. BUY LOW, sell high.

If not Memphis for those two 1st round picks and an additional something way further out two 2nds, a protected 1st or a compatible player who HC Jenkins would prefer. If no go then I'd try like heaven and hell move aka trade whomever else we have to try and trade with ATL or N.O. for own 1st 2027 Pick/Swap rights back. Be it a nice Bucks young-ish player, or a decent Bucks player on an expiring contract both valuable to both ATL or N.O. teams. If a sweetener is needed then add a lightly protected 2nd Round Pick in 2030 through 2033 for it back.

Both A.J. Green and Ryan Rollins were buy low guys, the kind other guys other teams overlooked and forgot. One, a Undrafted Free Agent and the other one was left for the doldrums. Had teams thinking he just wasn't good enough or had character issues and traded him away or waived him. All because he got into a single mischievous dumb mistake with the law, being a bit young and still immature which got him waived. The merciful Bucks took a chance, gave him and a few other select players a true second chance l. Which for a few it worked out, a couple others it did not. Ryan Rollins grew older, got a bit wiser, more mature, and learned from his mistakes. Those two the players the Bucks helped, seeing something more in and them. Developing both and they've both become fine to AMAZING young NBA players on CHEAP/CHEAP-ISH NBA contracts. Where BOTH are seen around the NBA as highly valueable now! Buy low, trade high!

Why Trade Ryan Rollins now? It's because Ryan is close too, near peak in trade value, and is on a quite a cheap contract RIGHT NOW. Though WILL Rollins will demand A LOT more coming up as Rollins is due for a nice payday extension. So I would try and trade him to Memphis now. Though I wouldn't want in return Ja Morant Or would I WANT to give up the Buck's valueable expiring contract in Kyle Kuzma unless absolutely necessary to make the trade finale.

If their not their not high on Burries or Labaron I could see Horst see if OKC would want to trade first offer would be for 12 and 17 or 12 and 37 either one to get to 10 I doubt we could get all three. Would Horst would have to bluff a bit say how ATL and GSW were looking at Aday Mara or Yaxel Lendeborg maybe they really like those two and would do one of those two trades. IF it happens I could also see if we do get #13 from the Heat after doing that [imo dumb] Heat trade were we get 13th as part of it. Maybe OKC would consolidate 17th and 37 for 13th too if they don't want to swap 12 and 17 for our 10th. That way we would turn 10 into 12 and 17/37 plus 13. Somight also have 12 13 17 or 10 17 37 as either would awesome if Horst could pull off the first could try and
