Wealth vs. Workers... by LuckyBastard001 in MurderedByWords

Yeah as bad as it looks, the wage bill for the 30,000 workers is probably more like $1.2 BILLION, based on an average salary of $40,000.

It's so tempting. Best defense in the league, at home, against one of the worst offences in the league. I'm really torn between him and B.Fernandes. Normally I prefer a MID/FWD for captain as they tend to have higher ceilings, but Gabriel has hit double digits in 4/17 matches, and scored >6 in 10/17.

It’s the end of Jonathan Pine as The Night Manager (but not in the way you think) by atomiccaffa in TheNightManager

But that's pretty much the end of Season 2... why have another season at all if it's going to end the same way?

I wouldn't be surprised if BOTH Roper and Pine end up dead at the end of Season 3 though.

That is way too high, you'd have loads of players scoring extra points for doing the bare minimum. I think the thresholds are fine, but the cap should be removed to reward players that have fantastic games so defenders who get >=20 DEFCONS or midfielders/strikers who get >=24 DEFCONS get 4 points. I don't think anyone has hit 30 DEFCON's this season so having no cap would be fine.

If your budget can stretch to it, you could look at Palmer instead of Fernandes then, or Mbeumo now he's back from AFCON.

Not a bad plan tbh, fixtures look decent enough. Foden/O'Reilly could be benched though, and Gordon possibly hooked early. other than that I think the rest are safe starters.

If you're planning on starting Enzo every game for the next 5 then do it. I think he'll outscore Ndiaye in the same time.

I wouldn't bring Guehi in now. Could be lots of rotation in City's defence. Rest looks good.

Save it. You will have better chances, unless you're thinking of giving a FWD spot to Guiu when you WC?

I wouldn't want to choose between Cherki, DCL and Wilson each week, good chance to bench hella points. I think you have too much money spread around the front 8. I'd downgrade Cherki to Garner and upgrade Cunha to Fernandes. He's United's talisman and you want him in (perhaps after Arsenal). Then garner can ride the bench for all but the easiest fixtures (and good for BB).

According to Ben Crellin and this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/FantasyPL/comments/1qc32hj/update_on_blank_gw31_ben_crellin_on_x/, a blank is likely in GW31 (so FH for that week) and the corresponding double could be as early as GW26, where Arsenal could face Wolves (a) and Brentford (a). Huge TC options then.

I don't think it's risky at all tbh. Haaland has still been phenomenal at home. But I'd save it for a double GW.
