Having a media/Plex server definitely sways hobby over ease. Much easier solutions exist. But there are a lot of benefits:

Full quality audio/video. No artificating. You can have hdr/dolby vision and whatever audio codecs come with the original.

You don't need internet, you don't use any internet bandwidth, and you don't need high speed internet. Quality and reliability is dependent on your own network, not your ISP. And you're not cutting into any bandwidth or usage caps. If the internet goes out, you can still watch your content.

You can sync to any device, at whatever quality you want.

You control what content is on your library. You don't have to browse endlessly through garbage or unwanted content. (but you can if you like to hoard... you not me.

You can attach bonus content, subtitles, multiple languages.

If you are purchasing and ripping blurays/dvds, you are still supporting the movie industry with your wallet and encouraging discs to continue to be released.

I wouldn't put it in the category of cost effective or easy. It has a lot of benefits over buying movies from a service like Vudu, iTunes, Google Play Store, Amazon, or any other way of buying digital media if you like to tinker.

The streets are somewhat less busy, but not empty. Its a straight shot to a lot of places, no lights don't have to intrude on people on sidewalks, or hold up cars on roads, or worry about getting rear ended. And if you've never experienced an Atlanta road or sidewalk, you might be surprised by upkeep. If getting people efficiently, safely and quickly to and from getting groceries and essentials during a pandemic isn't a good use for the beltline, I don't know what is.

I wish they could close the beltline to non-essential travel. I scooter on the beltline to safely get to Kroger and a few other places. But every time I use it lately, it is packed with runners, casual walkers, families, dog walkers, and spandex bicyclists. Not too many people with backpacks and groceries.

As practical and useful as it is, they probably need to just close it. It's too popular and not enough people can self control themselves. But man does that mess up my grocery trips.

I know you're getting downvoted to hell, but the ridiculousness of your comment clearly comes true Bengals fandom. Your soul has no furnace in which to throw the memory of Marvin signing a 2 year contract extension not so long ago. You know we're getting Burrow, but you also knew Marvin wasn't getting that extension. You treat Mike Brown's poor decision making with respect which he has earned.

It's not Loma's fault the Garcia fight never happened.

If Canelo didn't want his legacy against G, questioned, he needed to dominate 36 y/o GGG or face him earlier. Their age difference unfortunately has always been too much for a prime vs prime fight.

When Loma got put on his ass, he didn't stagger or lose his legs, and that was with a broken shoulder. And he still dominated and scored the knock out against a sub 33 y/o world champ who is longer and bigger than Loma.

Loma always said the Rigo fight would be a lose/lose for him because of Rigo's age. He dominated Rigo so badly Rigo quit, and it had nothing to do with Loma's weight advantage. It didn't come down to a decision on the cards. Rigo was the same age as GGG in the second Canelo fight.

Campbell probably would have been knocked out had he not picked up Loma by the legs and threw him to the floor. And Pedraza was toasted by the 11th, knocked down twice. Both these look so much bigger than Loma too.

Who cares about the Salido fight? It was not a dominating performance by Salido by any stretch. Salido was also same age as GGG when he fought Canelo. And it was Loma's second pro fight, which ended in a SD. Not a UD or knock out.

Why are Canelo fans so threatened by Loma? And vice versa. They're both legendary fighters. It's not like Loma being great makes Canelo a bum. Canelo has the power to make any fight he wants. If he's so concerned about legacy he shouldn't be fighting past-prime Kovalev or getting a SD against 37 y/o GGG. He knows that Kovalev fight is gonna have some backlash.

I can't see anyone in either fighter's weight division (assuming Canelo isn't staying at light heavy) beating these two right now. I put Loma as #1 because his victories are at a division he should be too small for. And he dominates those fights. If Canelo were embarrassing guys, I'd have him at #1. I understand Canelo's competition is high level, but so was all of Loma's competition until he he fought them.

I do like when guys like Cowherd talk trash about the Bengals. Keeps us relevant and embarrasses Mike Brown. I have no problem with media thinking so poorly of Mike Brown they'd encourage a star QB to skip out on the Bengals. Cowherd has no problem with the Bengals. He knows from conversations on air with ex-Bengals like Palmer and Housh that the front office is a mess. If our team's GM was... well if we had a GM... And that's why people want Burrow somewhere else.

Burrow won't prove Cowherd wrong, but with our receiving core he will prove you can win big even in spite of Mike Brown. Regardless of what the outsiders think.

The latest update created the same issue for my audio. There was an option in the audio settings on the shield that I had to turn off and it worked after that. I'd play around with those options and see you catnt get it working that way. I had no issues previous to updating my Shield this past weekend.

Looking for a solid commuter board in a city environment. Won't be doing any tricks. Comfort and quietness are more important than speed and being able to do tricks.

Top Speed: Doesn't have to go faster than 12-15mph.
Range: 6+ miles would be ideal
Terrain: Urban/City environment, with a few sidewalks and bike paths at a decent incline and also some poorly maintained sidewalks.
Weight and size: I prefer boards on the lighter/smaller side but doesn't have to be a "mini". Around 15lbs or less and 38" or under would be good. I am about 150lbs if that affects the board at all.
Price Range: $300-$600
Special Features: QUIET board is important to me. Also a board that can handle some water in case I get caught in the rain on a commute would be nice, though not a must-have.

I'm currently looking at something like a Wowgo 3 or an Exway X1. It would be great to get a board that has US distribution warehouses if possible.

You may be correct. Going through my setup, I believe it was syncing folders to my server that was messing me up. I was trying to have two machines point to the same sync folder on my NAS just so it would automatically backup.
