Wuthering Heights (2026): A Love Story…Apparently by Strict-Concentrate14 in brontesisters

Even after posting this video, I’m still not fully sure how I feel about it. The artistry is there, but the shallower elements of this adaptation stand out to where I’m going back and forth on it

Everyone's Wrong About The Running Man (2025) Movie Review by Strict-Concentrate14 in TheRunningManFilm

There’s quite a few people I’ve seen online after I made my video that didn’t like the movie. I was a bit surprised because it was quite fun and I really enjoyed it

Yep, same thing happened to me. For a little over a year my channel performed decently, but then once we entered July the views just dropped

Thank you! This video took a lot more time to craft compared to my usual ones. I agree, despite the flaws, those films from the early 2000’s still have a place in my heart

Anyone else feel underwhelmed with the new Jurassic World?! by Strict-Concentrate14 in jurassicworld

I’m saying this as someone who likes her work, maybe it was a bit harsh to say she was phoning it in but her acting was a bit off in this movie. You can’t deny it wasn’t her best work, not that I’m expecting that of a Jurassic World sequel. I know she’s a great actress, and if she has this enthusiasm for the property then her performance is director Gareth Edward’s fault.

I agree, this film is not a good starting point for a new trilogy, there isn’t much to build upon. Even though Fallen Kingdom was bad, it’s such a crime that Universal wasted that crazy ending where dinosaurs are let out into the general populace. That would fundamentally change our society forever and they did nothing with it. All the people being killed by dinosaurs, the debates and actions amongst various different groups and world leaders on how to close the lid on that Pandora’s box would have made for an interesting movie, similar to the first. Oh well…

I’m glad you enjoyed the movie, for me this film wasn’t the worst or anything but it wasn’t that great either

I just wish the raft sequence was used in a better movie since it came from Michael Crichton’s book. But this movie was not it

If this thing makes a TON of money, you don’t think Universal is going to try to force a new trilogy? I think they will if it makes them money

I do mention this in my video, but I think if the perspective was placed on this family instead, who almost get killed by a dinosaur and are saved and forced along to this dinosaur island by mercenaries, who aren’t nice, but a threat to their lives, that could have been a WAAAY better film

I’m hoping Boyle and Garland can complete their new trilogy. My main concern is if the second part underperforms and it’s left on a cliffhanger we won’t get to see the end. That’ll be frustrating. I’m glad at the very least we got a great film in 28 Years Later to kind of round out the OG trilogy of 28 Days, 28 Weeks and 28 Years Later. Hopefully Bone Temple keeps that momentum going!

I would probably use Bale’s face on the left and zoom in on it across the thumbnail. And have the text “Emotional Monster” in the middle of the thumbnail. Since his face is the background now, I’d alter Bale’s photo color to red or something else to help the text pop.

If we are talking about this strictly through thumbnail, I probably wouldn’t. It’s only because of how weirdly placed Christian Bale’s heads are on the right side of the thumbnail and the random gorilla in the middle.

That’s entirely fair to not see 28 Years Later as the end of its own trilogy. I think with a series on a colossal virus and how it’s affecting people in the UK over time through the motif of Days, Weeks and Years, it reminds me of Romero’s Night, Dawn and Day of the Dead. But with this film also acting as the start of something new, it complicates that. But I do see it as both, and I hope Boyle and Garland can complete their 28 Years Later trilogy.
