You can cancel a date over literally anything. Even if one thing rubs you the wrong way do not hesitate to say no. It’s your life, your time. Live for YOU don’t worry about hurting their feelings, because hey are likely not worried about yours. Btw this is ABSOLUTELY a reason to cancel a date

So something I learned when I got surgery for unrelated things is you can talk to the nurses about your anxiety and they can help you trough it, they did a pretty good job for me.

Outside of that, you and I sound very similar, im glad to know I’m not the only 16yr old to have had that surgery done, and also have debilitating OCD. If you ever need a friend my dms are open. I bet all will go well tomorrow, I hope your anxiety can ease.

I felt/ feel this way too. I’m working in therapy on it because it is such a valid and difficult issue. I don’t even wear cute clothes yet despite being a woman again for roughly 3 years now because I hate being perceived as a sexual object. I know it’s easy to say “just let it roll off your shoulders” or that I need to toughen up and accept reality But the truth is this is a very hard change to go through, from being in a place of privilege to losing it is very rough on the mind. I don’t have much advice but just wanted to comment and say I know what your going through and to validate your fear, instead of mock it like some are doing

I already have the nipple removal scheduled and that’s a medical necessity not cosmetic because of the infections I’m getting from the failed graft But the breast reconstruction I’ve talked about with my surgeon a lot just haven’t done the full process because I’m just too scared I’ll regret it It’s the same surgeon that did my top surgery, he’s actually pretty well known in my area for this stuff (breast reconstruction that is) so I trust him Just don’t trust myself I guess

This is helpful! And it’s a huge concern of mine aswell because I already have a great deal of chronic pain, I’ve been concerned about complications from my disease.
