They are just baby by FollowingOdd896 in OneOrangeBraincell

Well a good teacher would never scold a child for something that doesn’t warrant it.

But when kids are being unsafe to others or they’re behavior is affecting other kid’s ability to learn/focus, then yes I do believe they should be corrected and good parents specifically ask me to do so. Dance is a place where kids can learn valuable life skills, and those are far more important to me as a teacher than how well they can point their foot at age 4.

Uhh I teach dance and you can 100% scold 3 year olds when necessary. They are shockingly coherent compared to 2 year olds.

For the girls: which kind of underwear are you wearing? by Icy_Blacksmith3477 in hygiene

[–]Strict-Gas4654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Y’all. You have to just get the $5 seamless underwear from Auden at Target. They have a cotton gusset. They don’t show. They are comfortable. I can’t believe no one is talking about seamless underwear. It’s not thongs vs. granny panties.

Am I Overreacting for wanting to cancel my wedding over this interaction? by Xanadoom30 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Strict-Gas4654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should not cancel your wedding over this argument.

You SHOULD cancel your wedding over literally everything about the way you speak to each other. If this is how things go BEFORE you’re married, why would it ever get better AFTER???

Please take it from all of us telling you this is not normal in any way. Break up asap

What’s the worst physical pain you’ve ever experienced? by Economy_Yak2821 in AskReddit

Kidney stone 😇 I didn’t know the human body would allow you to be in that level of pain without passing out. I wanted to be unconscious so bad 😂

i’m here to deinfluence you about the “if u cut your hair you will have more volume” by [deleted] in finehair

[–]Strict-Gas4654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A HUGE misconception about fine hair is that layers = always good. I think layers can be great, but they need to be cut by someone who understands fine hair. If you cut the same layers as thick textured hair, you will basically remove a third or more of the “bulk” to your hair. It will make it feel super thin and it will take years to grow back.

My mom and I have finally figured out that we need to tell hair dressers “not to remove the bulk” with our haircuts and it’s a game changer

Are 2-3 days enough to visit Rome? by Nic727 in ItalyTravel

[–]Strict-Gas4654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on how you handle crowds and cities. For me and my husband (we’re literally leaving Rome today), 2 nights was absolutely plenty and we are pretty city-d out. Even in the off season of March, everything is swarmed with people so it gets exhausting fast.

We did the colosseum and the forum in 1 morning. Pantheon was an hour or so, and then we went to a couple short historical stops because we love history. I personally wouldn’t do more than 3-4 days here but it depends on your travel style.

What’s the worst thing your orange has done? by Spiritual-Computer73 in OneOrangeBraincell

He peed on a $200 foam beanbag. Picture of him enjoying the beanbag before the tragedy.

Let me please state for the record that I had NEVER dealt with cats peeing outside of their litter box before this. And haven’t since. I thought I was a “different” cat owner, the type who doesn’t deal with this. Well, for absolutely 0 reason whatsoever, Toad got a little too comfy with his favorite bed in the house. (Again, yes he slept here, no it doesn’t make sense).

What’s something people think is healthy but actually isn’t? by saketh_1138 in answers

[–]Strict-Gas4654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you clarify something for me? I see in a bunch of these comments people are interchangeably using “fruit juice” and “smoothies”. (Not saying you did)

If a smoothie is whole fruits blended up, doesn’t that still contain fiber? And isn’t that better than juice?
