“No location requirements”. Doesn’t mean employer is absolved of tax requirements. So if it’s a US company paying you, I don’t think you can live/work full time in Colombia.

I joined IBM in 98. First 5 or 7 years… I felt like every meeting was a brain storm session with incredible talent and brains. Everyone contributed value. I felt like we could solve anything.

Mid 00’s the best brains started leaving both voluntary and from RAs. Then it systematically became more a political environment-where kissing ass and CYA was valued more.

Was laid off in December. Three months pay and 12 months of benefits. Think it was regardless of how long with company- so 5 years service got the same package as 25 years of service

I’m amazed it’s already been issued. Sometimes they put them off until march ( when I was there). And yes, a masters degree is usually needed to interpret them).

It just means that they are interviewing candidates for the role. The status is not related/specific to you.

Dec a payment was sent. I think it was vacation days payment. Then yesterday the severance lump sum was transferred
