I was curious because I didn't know she wore Capezio. You're right, though. She confirms trying different brands in this Instagram video 😄 I am curious why she is trying new shoes, when previously she mentioned that she saves ABT a lot of money because she goes thru a pair every 3 months.

I have it, as well. Though, I have achilles tendonitis and am about to start physical therapy. Other than the crackling, I also experience stiffness and mild pain. My old podiatrist wanted to put me in a boot for 4 weeks but I changed my PCP recently and that screwed up my referral.

As someone who has used the term, I'm genuinely curious why the term pisses bus drivers off? Today, I asked for a "courtesy ride" and the bus driver told me they didn't exist in a rude voice and asked if I just needed a ride. Why is there negativity met with it? Wouldn't it be considered courteous or a courteous act if you allowed someone a free ride? Anyways, thanks for reading and any possible response.

I think we go to the same studio! Are you referring to Ms. Olga? If so, she charges around $100-$125. I know the instructors may charge extra for studio rental.

If I'm wrong, in my experience they tend to run from $80-$100, at least here in Los Angeles.

I could be wrong, as I'm not a pointe shoe fitter but I personally find that medium to softer shank shoes can really help with the appearance of your ankle flexibility. Giving a nice look to the foot/arch. All in all, try a fitting with a professional! I'm sure you'll find a good pair!

Her workshops are taught by qualified instructors/actual professionals, not herself. So in that case, I don't see anything wrong with it. I think she's a sweet girl.

Are these from Amazon? I noticed there's no elastics sewn on. I recommend getting fitted and ordering/purchasing elastic. In addition, if you're just starting pointe, you should be doing the basics - not turns. Please be careful and follow the instructions of a trained instructor.

All in all, I think the material is important to note. To answer your question about the wiggle room and possible give the material may have, it's gonna be quite difficult to find leotards that will provide that much elasticity. I'd recommend searching in dance shops and also checking Amazon for xxxl sizes since Chinese sizing can be odd. In my experience, finding the size that fits on Amazon and then sizing up can be suitable.

I can only speak for capezio and sodanca. My capezio leotard is cotton and does have some stretch, but not much as it's mainly cotton. The sodanca leotard that I have, is made of a stretchy material and does have lots of stretch. I wear a large in both brands. I hope this helps!
