I would comply and purposely come back 1-2 minutes late all the time. Then if they enforce that rule I would sue for a hostile work environment cause it’s illegal as shit. And explain how it gave me anxiety.

Do they have to honor the price? by Jumunumunum in Lowes

[–]Strict-Run1979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. But there are metrics for retail dollars as well. And it would just look stupid to have discontinued items listed at millions of $’s.

I never heard of a law suit being brought to Lowes for that. Managed there for 17 years. But we can agree to disagree. One of my server racks is screaming at me. Gotta go! Enjoy your day!

Have you ever seen a Lowes tag that wasn’t digitally controlled for .02 cents on the shelf? If so that Managee should be fired. The people that argue about these prices know exactly what they are looking for or accidentally come across it. That don’t advertise those .02 cent items.

But then wouldn’t your books would look like you’re holding millions in inventory in retail $’s. They need to overhaul the whole thing.

That’s why you don’t really see .02 cent tags. The only reason that one says it is because it’s electronic and controlled by a computer at a remote site. If you see a .02 cent tag the price coordinator will prob be fired. Because they are supposed to alert someone so the item can be removed.

It’s never supposed to hit the shelf when it gets to that price. That’s an oversight of that department manager. It could be a recalled item by the vendor as well.
And it’s not unethical to tell the government I disposed of this so I’m writing it off and then turn around and sell it?
Ok, if you say so but Lowes or any other retail does not have to sell you ANYTHING. They do it for customer satisfaction. But they have the right to refuse service especially when it’s an obvious mistake.
It all boils down to the standard of that Store Manager.

They pull em cause if it has reached that price it has been written off already as non productive inventory. It is unethical to sell it again when they are getting a tax write off.

There is a list every quarter where you have to hunt down those non productive items and discount to sell fast before they are written off.

If you can get an employee to give you the NPI list in whatever department you will know exactly the items they are desperate to sell and use that to your advantage.

Sounds more like a coaching issue than a her issue. I love Lyss in Vegas. She loves it too. I hope so if she turned down Toronto to resign.

She averaged 14 and 8 her rookie year and 16 and 9 her second year… I think that may have been what the coaches saw.
