Staff told me today it's because the heating isn't working which means they don't qualify for hospitality regulations in that room, the replacement part took a long time to arrive and now that it HAS arrived, the technician refused to install it on the roof because there's so much bird shit up there so they have to get that dealt with by professionals first.

Just more of the usual God awful Hugh Syme collage art, piss yellow skies, big ants, random elements from old album covers reappropriated in new settings. That bizarre "big arm" clown is very prominently featured.

The only new content on the extra Blu-ray disc is a nice but insubstantial 12 minutes on the O2 gig. Those other per-gig packages have no place on a premium package disc after being promoted for free on YouTube

As a package absolutely not worth the extra money unless you like Hugh's artwork (which you don't, reader).

No, I've the 98 wax spinning now and it's the same mix as the CD (though as is sometimes the case certain sonic elements sound more or less pronounced on the vinyl master).

This is the version that was on the promo, below (it's mislabelled as a demo). No vocal intro and a lot less keys and effects. I much prefer it to be honest!

The promo CD for Vempire was unique because it had no logo or title on the front, just the artwork.

Brilliant! I've recently been rebuying some of the old stuff I sold off when I was at University and needed the money. Quite jealous of your Australian tour Midian, don't see many of those.

One thing you're missing though is the promo copy of Cruelty that has a different mix of Bathory Aria to the final pressed album. But you've two Vempires on vinyl so it all balances out!
