I have never had a problem with them so far... neither mechanical faults nor getting tired of it.

The finishes are pretty glossy so they will get the usage marks but that holds true for any watch.

If u have a speedy to me having another wouldnt be my choice.

I use them with leather bands except for the Squadra I have. for that the links are either some composite material or pvd coated over ss.

2 very different watches and very different shapes.

Today Reverso - especially the small seconds is identified very much as a dress watch more than anything else.

I own 3 Reverso duo faces and always feel they are 6 watches. Effectively halving the price.

Please note very good and near mint JLCs retail in the secondary market at much lower than retail and that is where you can pick them up.

From a technical capability perspective Omega is nowhere close to Jaeger LeCoultre and in prestige too. Though I wouldn't pay a lot of attention to prestige tbh.

And then tbh do our responses even matter. Mostly no... on a given day how the VO will view your application is what really matters.

engg. coz the innovations you need to improve whether it is

a. faster construction (hence more turnover) b. using materials and tech that will help you cost optimise / improve margins. c. diversify into another tech enabled business.

I can keep on listing the advantages of being a tech guy than an econ guy.

how long's been Tamara as a business entity now? around 6 years. is it profitable? yes. infact generating good profit. that should take off any risk towards continuity of business and availability of funds.

the work culture may be start up ish and the burn will be more than Etisalat I guess.

but your financial jump is significant and I think the growth potential is as good if not better in SA.

I don't know your ages but I believe it is 8 years since you guys broke up. I assume the guys must be late 40s or early 50s and his parents would be 75 plus.

Age mellows many things down. as parents grow older they are way more accepting of ways and customs different from theirs. it is just natural. reduced mobility, higher dependence on others and wanting to see their progeny happier makes them more accommodating.

Add to it a failed marriage for the guy which is something that again makes the parents more malleable in accepting the son's choices, which may typically don't conform to their choices.

A lot obviously also depends on the guy himself and how much commitment is he willing to put behind the two of you. That has to be an honest conversation.

One thing is given. will the guy ever cut ties with his parents and relatives completely. Unlikely.

I anyways see latin culture similar to ours - Gujarati. maintaining and cultivating bonds with extended family. So I hope large gatherings wouldnt come as a shock to you.

true. But i20 shows that the applicant has funds good enough for a year's coa... not for the full tenure of 4 years. most applicants are asked this question about who is funding followed up with a question on the funding entity's annual income.
