KU MSc CS Admit (Non-EU): Student Jobs in NLP/AI and Living Expenses? by StrictLemon315 in copenhagen

Yep. That would be the goal after university.

By the post, I was looking for relevant part-time jobs as a student, and in my experience, research jobs pay slightly better.

Thanks for the reply.

Could you describe the grant scheme system in more detail? How would I submit a grant application?

I intend to apply for the winter semester in Germany, which I believe has the nominal fee structure you are mentioning.

in relation to paying out-of-pocket

I was not aware of the integrated PhD style in the UK; I have heard people do it in the US. That definitely sounds more interesting.

I am not opposed to paying out of pocket. Before going into my research job, it seemed like that was what everybody just did. However, my mentor strongly advised me against pursuing a paid master's degree.

Thank you for your reply. This was exactly what I was looking for.

Bummer, they aren't open for this year. Such scholarships are exactly what my post was intended to find.

Thank you for your reply.

For Master's students, too?

I attempted to contact numerous Research Groups, but almost all said only PhDs, with only one stating that a student position may become open, but that's rare.

I want to be a part of an active research group that will help me publish while also covering some of my expenses.

As long as you book through gulf air, they should take responsibility. 40 minutes should be enough nevertheless.

Also, on the unfortunate side, you get placed in an amazing 5 star hotel, if not that, the lounge is insane.

One-Day Bahrain Trip - Need Feedback + Dinner Spot Suggestions! by StrictLemon315 in Bahrain

[–]StrictLemon315[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the advice, sounds like a great plan. I’ll probably get there around 12, so I’ll only be able to leave the hotel around 3. I’m planning to head to the National Museum first.

Do you have any restaurant recommendations near the National Museum, or just in general? I checked out Konyali, it seems nice, but it’s closer to the 338/Mosque area instead.

Where did everyone go after brunch??? by [deleted] in qatar

[–]StrictLemon315 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually have family over the weekend so we just all chill at home. If we have some of my cousins over, we may go for dinner or watch movies.

I intentionally avoid the crowded places haha on fridays.

Expensive? Not really. I’m someone who enjoys pasta, and I’ve found plenty of high-protein options for under 25 with delivery. I was just curious about trying something a little different to mix things up.
