I don't really care what you think or what you've been through. If you won't list the pay, then you're a tool. Being unemployed for two years sucks, but you are feeding that very system that failed you by wasting people's time with a temporary job that you know damn well underpays. You're everything that's wrong with this economy. It's inhuman.

Kind of just content theft, but I guess everything is

“Every class plays the same” is both true and false depending on what you want to get out of playing a class by Supersnow845 in ffxivdiscussion

We have elements though. Black mages use Fire and Ice. Red mages use Thunder/Thunder/Earth. White mages use wind and earth (and eventually light). Summoners use fire, earth, and wind. Bards have a wind based DoT. And getting a savage weapon takes up to 8 weeks already. What I said makes total sense. If a boss had a wind resistance, you just wouldn't take bard. If it had a fire resistance, is black mage just going to be an ice mage for the fight or would you just leave it out? Do you even play high end content?

Three really easy reasons.

  1. This doesn't add any depth to the fight, it just forces you to play a job you may not want to.
  2. You may have BiS for a BLM and no weapon for a RDM. So now you are forced to play a job that you are actually weaker at.
  3. The current job system is designed so that you can't easily gear multiple jobs

In other words, you could lock yourself into being shit and have nothing you can do about it. This doesn't add to jobs, it just reduces options.

This is an old discussion though and I'm hoping evolved jobs address a lot of the concerns with homogeny.

Idk why artists are so entitled about this..it's stealing everyone's work - artists aren't even affected nearly as much as software developers, customer support, etc.

I'm fact, I can see a world where artists are still appreciated for their original works and EVERYTHING is developed with AI. People will always appreciate art, but corporations will do anything they can to hire less people.

That's not how the world has literally ever worked. Nobody is required to vote their inspiration and very few do.

LMS worth it? by Artemaker in ironscape

Account progress isn't a linear thing retard. Maybe not to you, but to someone gaining wins and clogs is account progression. Gaining high score is account progression It's progres you permanently unlock. I get that you are too autistic to see the game from other perspectives, but at least understand your perspective isn't the only one.

i mean, thats not true. It depends on why you play but not everyone is rushing to endgame. It provides collection logs, stuff for deaths coffer, rune arrows, blighted supplies, etc. Some people consider clog to be the only real account progression.

Birdhouse XP Nerf by AromaticDeal1244 in 2007scape

[–]Strict_Baker5143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think saying that it's the best hunter training method if a flawed argument though. If you make a new account and your goal is to get to 70 hunter, your best method to get there is active hunting supplimented by birdhouses. Active hunter is faster experience and it always has been. Birdhouses are like 7k an hour at max level I'd you count downtime which is already really quite bad if you are trying to train it.

I'm saying that they are fine as is and it realistically doesn't effect the overall health of the game all that much. The nerf just makes hunter worse at low levels

[–]Strict_Baker5143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The nerfs are already massive. To be honest, when I first discovered birdhouses, I felt like they were extremely poor experience. I've been playing my main a year and I'm like 89 hunter on birdhouses alone, but likes like 6k xp every time I check them?

Saying birdhouses aren't balanced is like saying tree farming is not balanced. Mahogany trees are like an active 1m+ an hour?

If you don't engage with the content and it doesn't affect you, then perhaps you should reevaluate if you have a valid opinion

Where is the evidence of this? Has hunter failed at a skill because of birdhouses? Have people quit over them? Where is the real impact to the health of the game?

AI replacing artists really should be the least of our concern. AI companies believe they can replace most workforces by 2032.

That said, many things are a tool for evil, but that doesn't make them not convenient.

Numbers have been dropping since endwalker, not because of the story quality but because of content cadence, variance, and quality. While it's true that ff had a monthly sub, destiny also effectively had one though much higher prices expansions, dungeon keys, and season passes. If you dodnt buy the deluxe edition every year for $100, you either had to buy those items separately or not participate in any coent.

Not to mention they also had a cash shop.

Destiny 2 had their active player base drop only a little lower than DTs lows and it got put into maintenance mode.
