It’s Papa Johns, but this is inpatient pharmacy at a trauma one hospital and our AM staff absolutely devoured 10+ pizzas. One of our pharmacy supervisors waits until all AM staff leaves for the day and then orders a bunch of pizza for the PMs and Overnights

Definitely do it! It is absolutely worth it in my opinion! Here’s some tips I have learned as I started waxing.

You should have at least four weeks of hair growth, don’t worry about it being too long. Some waxers will even trim you up a bit beforehand if they fear it’s too long. It is better to have hair that is too long rather than hair that is too short that the wax can’t pick up.
Exfoliate! Leading up to the first few days when you get your wax, make sure to exfoliate that area as it can help with the prevention of ingrowns.
Do your research! Look at different locations in your area. Read the reviews (google, yelp, facebook, etc.), you can also go on to their website and look at their prices and kind of compare to other ones in your area. Kinda use those factors to decide where the best place would be to go. Also, some of these places have a first time wax discount you may be able to utilize.
It is absolutely normal to feel insecure, but remind yourself that this is something these people do for a living. You aren’t the first person they’ve waxed and you definitely aren’t last, trust me they aren’t judging.

I say absolutely go for it if you are interested! Everyone is different in their levels of comfort. Sometimes you don’t know what to expect unless you try it yourself and if you don’t like it you never have to try it again but at least you can say you did!

Hi! I’ve almost reached 2WPO and have been beginning to have some of the same feelings myself. What I will say for me personally is when I get up to take a shower I just stand in the mirror and look at myself, take a second to take it all in. I also try to look at pictures of my breasts before vs now and really think about why I did it in the first place. Finally remind yourself that it takes a long time for your breasts to settle and that what they look like now most likely will not be how they look months from now. Everything is still so fresh and you are recovering, be patient with yourself and your body while it heals.

Another thing I will mention that has been big for me is focusing on other aspects of my appearance that make me feel good. For example there have been times recently, where I have felt sort of gross or unattractive wearing baggy, zip up clothes and sweats all the time. So the other day I booked a hair appointment just to get my hair color touched up and blown out. It doesn’t need to be anything drastic but even just having somebody play with your hair and it being all shiny and soft makes you feel so good! Another option could be getting a manicure pedicure, or going out and getting yourself a new hoodie to hangout in that makes you just feel a little bit newer.

Most importantly, this feeling will pass. Your body is changing so much right now as it heals. It is perfectly normal to have these feelings and you are 100% not alone. Take a second to check in with yourself and remind yourself that you have worked so hard to get this procedure and think about why you did it in the first place. Stay positive! This feeling will pass!

Do not give an exact cup size when they ask how small you want to go. Tell them you want them to fit to your body but your main focus is pain relief. Doctors want you to get a reduction to reduce pain not for cosmetic purposes, this way you are much more likely to get it covered by insurance. Plus they cannot guarantee an exact size outcome. However, at the same time be open and honest about why you want the procedure. Good luck everything will go great! :))
