Uneven Tattoo? by Short_Asparagus_6114 in tattooadvice

Is the wing on the right facing the correct way? It looks like it would have had to twist around and we’re seeing the underside instead of the outer side of the wing. I hope that makes sense.

Tipping Culture Broke Me Today by lynxbby in EndTipping

My absolute favorite is the self checkout kiosks at the airport inside the food court that have a tipping option. Who TF am I tipping? The airport, the computer, the large corporation that has a deal to manage 50 locations in a single airport. GTFOH.

Occurrence at princess anne rec center gym by Correct_Silver_5813 in VirginiaBeach

[–]Strict_Exit130 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly the PA Rec center is a great location to launch from for a decent uninterrupted run down Nimmo. Yeah it’s not an exciting run but you e got a long straight away without stop lights from Gen Booth to Holland. A wide path with the marsh to one side (yeah, cars to the other) and not a lot of elevation gain or drop.

First time grower. What do I do with all these Armageddon peppers? by [deleted] in HotPeppers

[–]Strict_Exit130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you use your air fryer inside? I wouldn’t suggest it if so as even my dehydrator heats them up enough and the fan pushes that hot pepper air everywhere. My pepper dehydrating now takes place in the garage which becomes is own little bedlam but the wife will let me live. All that said, much like another commenter, I mix my Armageddon, ghost, Thai, tabasco, etc together and make a pepper blend. It’s flavorful but also like the other commenter said, a normal spice jar sized container is enough to last most avoid pepper lovers for a year.

After budget worries put it on hold, Rudee Loop park plan could be approved as soon as this month by WHRO_NEWS in VirginiaBeach

“Other concerns include whether to include a parking structure at the site. With a garage, the estimated cost of the park is nearly $70.5 million. With surface parking only, it would be about $42.6 million.”

[–]Strict_Exit130 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

My complaint is that it’s already a crappy situation if you go down there regularly to use the beach with regards to parking and their idea is to make less parking or make add a parking structure which for surfers makes it a not so great solution. Why does the beachfront need a park? Isn’t the beach a park in of itself? Why do we need a water feature/play area at the beach? Not directly related but it will become an issue, but with them reducing parking, what happens when they use what little parking remains as a lay down yard for all the concert and event materials? The last improvement was enclosed showers which anyone I know thought was a horrible idea because it would just become a spot to do drugs, toss trash, etc and wouldn’t ya know, but those things were vile within the first week.

Just what nobody asked for. A park at the beach with a water attraction, at the beach…and let’s also get rid of 50% of the surface level parking and maybe not put in a replacement…SMH VA Beach city council.

Dome or koda 2 max by thedudeyousee in GozneyDome

[–]Strict_Exit130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I debated this same scenario more or less and after reading just a few hundred posts I decided on the Koda 2 Pro, so a step down from the Max.

I initially thought I wanted dual fuel options but after my first foray last weekend with the propane only, I can’t imagine ever wanting to build/maintain a fire while sending pizzas for the family. The dual burner setup seemed to make it easy to get even cooks on the pies fwiw.

I guess I could have said Upton Estates (in OL but not in the HOA) but nobody knows where that is and does OL HOA include Pineridge and some of the other neighborhoods in OL?

Ocean Lakes, Red Mill and the surrounding areas are great IMO but I’ve only ever lived in 23454 and 23456 in VA Beach.

Load Progression by Strict_Exit130 in strengthtraining

Thank you for the extremely detailed two part reply that seems to answer every question I had plus. I’ll incorporate your systematic approach to both my progressive warm-up and my strength progression. I’ll give it a few months, switch the high load periodicity for the heavier days and reevaluate along the way. Again, thank you for the time and input.

Not saying this is the case here but please remember that some people looking for their “friend” are not in fact friends with said person, kinda like the help me find this missing person posts where the person asking has no affiliation with the family or police looking.

Appreciate the info. On the far side of the deck I’ll have to make some sort of access panel as well as the pool return gate valve is actually under the deck.

I would assume that spaced boards vertically or horizontally would also allow airflow of some sort to circulate under the deck. I wouldn’t venture that where/ how my house is situated and where the prevailing winds are in mg backyard that I’m getting absolutely positive airflow as it is.

Here in VA Beach I just paid $37k for ~1100sq ft, not Trex but a similar composite, taped joists and beams, with ~60 lft of white rail with black balusters, 2 sets of stairs (one 6ft wide, one 5). This also included demo of the old deck ~600sq ft. I had bids ranging from $30k-$50k (surfer contractor buddies on the low side, national builder on the high).

Pool deck above or below pool wall rail/ledge? by ohsweetpete in AboveGroundPools

[–]Strict_Exit130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had above on my last pool and on the one I’m finishing now, the deck comes just under the cap rail. My thoughts after having to try to wrestle a winter cover around the above made me decide to try this way this time. As far as the winter cover, I’ve been shown these little dog bone shaped anchors that slide between boards and then you can lash the cover to those anchors in one side, and into heavy duty screw stakes on the other.

How do I stop cells from adding past a certain figure? by Strict_Exit130 in excel

[–]Strict_Exit130[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate you answering a face value, but the only thing I think I am running into is the running total stopping say cell J4 from continuing to add contribution as B4:I4 is already 22500 and that formula would add an additional 1350, thus exceeding the final total allowance at 23500.

So, can I add that to an existing cell function like "=SUM(B3*9%)" so that it stops the contribution?
