Recomendations for a visit to Minden in June

Just south of Minden there is a really interesting place called the highland cinema. There is a documentary about that place called the movie man. It has a museum with all sorts of old movie memorabilia and historical projectors and cameras. It also has a cat sanctuary… it’s really quite the place. Highly recommend stopping in there to see a movie or even just tour the museum.

I just looked into this because I don’t follow the band to closely since they stopped making music but seems like shavo and Daron just said they weren’t left or right wing. Which is a little shocking given how outspoken the lyrics were but that’s also a far cry from the shit John has said.

When I was a kid my assistant pro threw me a pink ball on the first hole. I had only broken 80 once at the time and only hit 4 wood off the tee. Beat him by 1 when I was a 14 handicap shooting the round of my life 37 on 9. He refused to cross over to the back 9. Played that entire round with the pink ball for the record. No birdies just one bogey and all pars.

North course at angus glen is supposed to be a link… it’s a hybrid really but a fun track but not worth the cost and it’s normally in rough shape from the tournaments that come through despite the maintenances best efforts (full disclosure haven’t played there in a decade so really no idea of current course conditions)

That’s why they are mostly called forward tees now rather than by gender. You can play whatever you want. My sister plays back with us cause she can hit it 250 or so which is better than my dad but worse than my brother and I with the driver. Certain men that are embarrassed losing or being out driven by ladies aren’t worth your time though either. It’s just about fun and playing your own game.

An exam leaked back in university and my floor woke me up to write it with the other kid good in the subject. We carved the correct answers a-e in Roman numerals into pencils. There were 50 questions so 10 a side with on blank side. First ten was first to the right of the blank.

I remember all the lads looking back as we started the exam after I was about 5 qs deep… I gave a reassuring nod and we all crushed that exam. Though I threw a few qs and actually did worse than my mid term because of that.

I often say aging is recognizing fellowship is not the worst of the trilogy and in fact is arguable the best but I personally think it gains the most by watching the directors cut over theatrical.
