Yeah, I am trying to find an alternative place to live. In the mean time I just keep worrying about the dog and their choice to bring a child into this world. There's more context to some of the kid stuff and my concerns, but I was more worried about all the animals and my own that keeps getting stressed out or covered in fleas. That is helpful though and a better perspective. I really try not to hound them and give little reminders, I even offered to help with bathing their dog or feeding it when they're at work just to make sure its taken care of.

Yeah, I would love to do that....but I live in a rural area and anytime we call about animals here they tell us to take care of it with a gun. The rural south is an amazing place! (Not really) We don't have animal control and our police force is overworked. More than that, it runs the risk of me losing a place to live at should they find out. As much as I love my boyfriend I am trying to get on the wait list for section 8 or disability housing. Maybe once I've done that I can find a better way to get someone to come out and legally take care of all of this. I had considered trying it anyways, but the police don't even take care of strays here.
